Story

We are all about local Craft Beer – with more than a dozen Ohio breweries represented. Everything from Ales to Lagers. Pilsners to IPAs. Draft, pints, bottles and even buckets. Check out our menu board for the latest seasonal offerings. When they’re gone, they’re gone!

As for our cocktails, every element is handmade and tailored specifically to the drink. House made syrups. Unusual flavor combinations. Made with a lot more care than your usual mixed drinks. The process focuses on flavor, high quality ingredients and taking your time in order to do the ingredients justice. It’s bringing back the art of bartending. House made simple syrups and infusions. Muddling fresh fruit for maximum freshness. Fresh squeezed lemons and limes. Fresh rosemary, cilantro, mint and cucumbers.

What’s the story on your Signature Cocktails? Each one was handcrafted and many feature local spirits from Watershed Distillery and OYO. Here’s the story of a few:
• Trevor’s Tequila after Trevor Jewell, our Assistant Manager and creator and source of inspiration for our handcrafted cocktails. This Trevor original is fresh and delicious, and tastes like summer.
• J.G.’s Urban Bourbon after Donatos Founder, Jim Grote who loves bourbon, and especially this herbal concoction created with St. Germain.
• Pandora’s Punch after Betsey Pandora, the Executive Director of the Short North Alliance featuring local Watershed gin and Chambord. Light and refreshing.
• Charly’s Highball named after Charly Bauer, one of the most instrumental advocates for success of the Short North Arts District. Created events like HighBall. By day, the lead scooper at Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream. His favorite: Beefeaters Gin and grapefruit juice with a salted rim.

We use spirits from local distilleries:
Watershed Distillery – committed to producing small batches of artisan-quality spirits, helping to re-establish a vibrant distilling culture in Columbus, Ohio.

• BOURBON: Made in small batches using a combination of Corn, Wheat, Rye and Spelt. They double-distill the bourbon and age it in charred American oak barrels. Each bottle is hand numbered to represent the time and effort they put into their Bourbon Whiskey.

• GIN: A light, modern gin with a smooth body and a unique and aromatic blend of botanicals. “A serious contender for the best Gin in America.” Foodista
