This is a great shop to have in the neighborhood and I recommend you go here for repairs. I got a tune up and replacement parts after my bike stopped shifting. They were honest about what was needed and took time to explain it to me. I was happy with the quality of the work, the amount of time it took, and the communication from the staff.
Excellent NEW management!! Super friendly, fast, and thorough. Took my bike in for a tune up and dusting off, Pearl and her team did a great job getting me smoothly back on the road. Also they offer free air when you need it and are conveniently located near Prospect Park. Highly recommend
Great bike spot. I had my Aventon ebike shipped there to be assembled. I called and they completed assembling the bike way before the estimated completion date. Everyone there is great to work with and they spent time walking me through the bike. I will be using them from now on!! PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE NEW OWNERS HAVE HAD THE BUSINESS FOR ABOUT A YEAR!! Don't judge them by the old reviews
Just had a great experience at this bike shop! Super friendly and honest, no nickel & diming. Needed a small part and they had it, didn’t give me some crazy upcharge or attitude. They were kind, helpful, and knowledgeable.
Very unfriendly LBS. Visiting from out of town and borrowed a friend's bike, but needed to swap over pedals and didn't bring tools. Came to this shop and was told that they don't lend out tools, so there would be a service charge of $5. Little harsh, but I get it. Then when they realized that it would be 2 tools allen key for one set, wrench for the other the guy said 2 tools is $10. At that point I left, too much nickel & diming.
Great neighborhood bike shop. They do big things in a small space, and always very friendly and educational. More affordable and convenient than most bike parts I’ve researched online.
Outstanding bike shop! expertly assembled my new e-bike, and made sure i had gone through all the specs and instructions before i left. Great shop and even better customer service
When Is This Place Open? Seriously, every time I walk or ride past this place the gate is down and it is closed. I needed to get a pump at a moments notice and yep, closed. Called the number, no answer, no voicemail. I'll just go to I & M like I always do. The least you can do is have a reliable schedule.
Not a bike review per se, but I had to buy a pair of wheels for a fabrication project. I went to Bicycle Habitat on 7th and 23rd in Manhattan first, and when I asked to buy a pair of wheels yes, just the wheels they looked at me like I was asking them to do a naked backflip and treated me like an idiot. When I stopped by Bike Life PLG on my way home I asked for wheels and they immediately understood and helped me out. These guys are friendly and knowledgeable, easygoing and hard working all at once. If you live in the area definitely come check them out!
Great experience! Brought my bike to be tuned up and they did amazing job. Everyone there was very professional and kind.
