Black And White Nail Salon

Okay so I never do reviews but it was literally so horrible I have to leave a review. Usually I go to attraction nails and spa on Stockwell road, (amazing!) my nail lady was busy so I thought I would make the drive to try black n white, worst nail salon I’ve ever been to. So I get there, I tell them I want a full set of acrylics. I am the only person in there other than a few pedicures going on in the back, so I was like yes! Fast service! But I was wrong. A nice man put the plastic tips on and sat me back down in the waiting area, and said A nail tech will finish up shortly. soon after loads of other women come flooding in and they start taking these other ladies before they finish mine! I literally sat with half finished nails for an hour and 13 Minutes AND COUNTING. finally a lady says she will take me. She puts on the acrylic, files them to a shape that was more oval than stiletto and when asked to file them sharper, she only filed one nail!!! Afterwards she paints them, two coats of paint, no glossy top coat at all. Earlier I had asked the man how much acrylics were as he was putting on the tips an hour before, and he told me 30, the lady charged me 35. I was like whatever, f*** it I just want to get out of here. Day 2 of having my nails and the pinky nail pops off. I called them demanding a refund and they offered to fix it, no new set, just to fix the one nail. Literally don’t go here it’s the worst.

Location: + easy to find + good neighborhood - not much else around it - very small (not like the pictures you see above) Staff: + nice, friendly - broken english Options: - minimal. Pedicures have no options or menu - $35 could get me a way better pedicure up north. Needless to say, it was over-priced. - massage wasn't the best/ that relaxing (rushed) Miscellaneous: + didn't rush me, despite being close to closing time + cool black and white theme/ atmosphere (although not consistently black and white) - lighting was way too bright, and not relaxing. - staff's kids screaming, playing, and running around --> SUPER DISTRACTING/ MOOD KILLER - no special discounts for anyone verdict: Would I recommend here? Not really. Would I come again? Maybe. Minus the annoying kids and the lack of options, it's not bad. I imagine there's a better place to get a pedicure from, though.
