Very rich and great tasting flavors. Hard to beat these ingenious flavor creations. They now take credit cards as well after years of being cash only. Do yourself a favor and go here.

Unique flavor combinations such as coffee basil and rose petal raspberry. Staff is extremely nice and lets you taste a small sample before committing to buying a cone or a dish. Seating available inside and outside. CASH ONLY.

Different flavors every time, so hit or miss if you’re more picky, but man they have such awesome and inventive flavors!! Sometimes I have to taste the weird ones, like “blueberry French toast” just because it’s exactly right!!Not sure if I’d want a whole cup of it though

Some of flavours should be bolder, like if it’s lemon ginger make it sharp and fiery. But overall great selection, tasty gelato and super friendly staff

We had Blackdog Gelato cater our July 2017 wedding at the South Shore Cultural Center. The entire experience from start to finish was fantastic. We worked with the owner, Jessie, who had us in the shop to sample many different flavors and even provided samples of a few flavors we requested that weren’t on the menu that day. It was so difficult to narrow down to four flavors, but we ended up with Blueberry French Toast, Dark Chocolate Sorbet, Mint Chip, and Salted Caramel. We booked the service late, so the cute cart wasn’t available, but they did have a table top serving piece available and we used it for our ‘first scoop’ instead of cutting a cake. They worked with our caterer to deliver during a tight delivery window and made the entire process easy!
