Was there for a family birthday so didn't have a tour but did get to walk around the house and grounds. Beautiful place.

I have photographed several sessions at Bleak House and am always inspired by the house and grounds. It photographs so beautifully! And the lake views are stunning. The staff have always been so kind and helpful, and have always been gracious to clients. I highly recommend this beautiful venue for your event!

The Civil War and Confederate experience really doesn't get much better than this. For such a small property, it is packed with history and artifacts that some better known places of historical significance cannot rival. The best time to go is probably when they have their tours which include period accurate attire and members of the UDC. I recommend this location to all history and Civil War buffs.

The folks here are very knowledgeable on local and Confederate history.  It's also a premier spot for beautiful weddings.  The gardens and house are stunning!
