When it comes to food, Blue Nile was a fantastic and authentic experience. The food was very flavorful and delicious. We ordered the Ethiopian Family meal. It's $110 for several of their signature dishes with plenty of Injera (which I could best describe as a zesty crepe, very tasty!). It's meant to all be eaten with your hands, but if you request a fork they will provide you with one. Their drinks were good, as well. They served wine, beer, and cocktails.
I am knocking one star off because their service was fairly slow, especially in the beginning. There was also a language barrier with their servers, so we had to walk up to the bar several times to reorder drinks (not that we were given incorrect drinks, we would just never get them). Everyone was very friendly, and service did pick up once we received the family meal.

It was delicious. If you're looking for some very good Ethiopian food for a good price, come here. Service is outstanding. I'm definitely becoming a regular. Oh, and their meat Somozas are good too.

Great restaurant with authentic feel. The portions are a bit big though which is the only downside. Don’t order a full meal if you’re not hungry, because I ordered a dessert, with a vegan dish and it was too much for me despite only costing $12. It tasted great but I couldn’t finish it and had to take the rest home for dinner.

Always a very enjoyable experience. It's an atmospheric space and the menu is varied, though we usually get the same thing - the vegetarian sampler plus maybe one meat dish. That easily serves 4 and for maybe $10 per person if you don't add drinks? Prices are reasonable and the food is great. Friends love the honey wine and the spiced tea; I haven't tried that myself. Service is friendly; a little on the slow side but more "relaxed" than "annoying". Great Houston landmark :)

I was excited to try this place after hearing great things about it. The place had nice Ethipoian decoration and art and the waiter was nice but the food was less than what I expected and way over priced. I had the vegetarian samosas, the vegetarian platter and Yemisser Wot. I spent about $40 and the portion was large but flavor wise just not what I expected. I could've made a pot of Lentils at home with much more flavor and spent less than $10 and fed my entire family, just saying. Don't think I'll be coming back.
