I've recently come into association with the excellent wash and fold services of the people at the Blue Sky Eco Laundry while assisting a friend with her new AirBnB adventure, which has it's own need for tight scheduling and professional looking products. I have been most happy with the very fast turn around within the 24 hours they state as their usual timeline of VERY bulky bedding. I also appreciate the secure lockers until items are picked up:-
I like how they have a pre sanitation wash for free before you wash your clothes. The washer and dryers are newer then most places. They got this Blue Sky Laundry Cards that you can use and you do not need quarters. On the washer you can get a text message when there is 10 minutes left and when they're done. The happy hours are the first two hours I've opening at 6:00a.m. and the last 2 hours to before closing @ 11:00p.m.
Maria is the nicest attendant and person you’ll ever meet. She was so kind and helpful. She deserves 10 stars. I like the sanitizer option but the machines could use someone to clean them by hand as the rubber gaskets are dirty. The dryers are the most powerful I’ve seen and will dry even a bulky item in less than 20 minutes. I also appreciate that customers can use a credit card but boy is it expensive to do a wash, and if you want hot water that will cost an extra $0.75 but it only charges the credit card $0.25 at a time so it’s a hassle.
Semi clean, a few weeks ago there was some needles by the trash. Prices are $4.25 per small wash and usually .$75 to dry. Not cheap, but not very expensive.
That was incredibly frustrating. I’m new here. I thought my complex’s laundry was expensive so I tried here. I couldn’t even find the place at first because google and Siri kept taking me to various spots around St. John despite having the correct address in. When I finally got there I find out I can’t actually have my laundry done by people as was advertised. The reason why was that there was not a single “bag” to load my laundry in inside the establishment. Can’t get quarters cause there’s no ATM. I went when they said there would be an attendant. There was none. They say you can load up a card with cash, but there was no where to get this card. There’s not even a number to call or get a hold of if you need anything at all. Above all else, it’s MORE expensive than using my apartments laundry room. Can’t believe this place has business, but I guess if you’re desperate and have few mobility options this is your “best” bet. I certainly wouldn’t bother
I do my laundry here every two weeks. Usually here before noon. Not that busy. Machines are pretty good quality. With washer and dryer. I usually spend $10. You get what you pay for. Everyone is pretty cool. My only problem is the weird homeless traffic. I’ve seen the same dude. Multiple times change his clothes in front of everyone. Kinda weird. Edit - was just here May 15th. 6 plus homeless sleeping, yelling, asking for money. Probably gonna pass on this place until they clean up.
Expensive, dirty with overflowing trash. They have a combination lock on the customer restrooms and no attendant. No sink to even wash your hands. Gross. Go elsewhere.
Nice place, very clean and priced fairly good.
Nice clean place. People keep to their own. Thank you Blue Sky
Go here every week and the machines are clean and efficient, my clothes dried in 28 minutes. On-site management is friendly and helpful. I appreciate being able to use my debit card instead of buying quarters, although you can use them if choose.
