Blush Med Spa & Beauty Bar

Looking for a position as a licensed esthetician recently, I was excited by the vibe that Blush had presented in their online presence and was even more thrilled about the potential to work in a beautiful & fun environment. A 15 minute interaction with the owner about a potential job opportunity is all it took to leave a lasting impression and bad taste in my mouth. The conversation that I had with the owner about potential job opportunities was extremely unprofessional. She spoke poorly about other candidates interviewed and previous staff. I would never work for, shop again, or recommend anyone to this establishment.

The facility was very nice, and all the workers were so sweet. But unfortunately, my friend and I had a terrible experience here. We both got Brazilians, and it was a first for us both. We found a Groupon online, so I called to ask a question before buying it. I actually ended up booking through them, and they gave me the same discount (because apparently Groupon takes a large cut). The owner and the girl doing the wax talked to us both beforehand. The girl told us she was new, so I didn't mind that the owner came in during my wax to make sure she was doing it right (they asked me first if it was okay for her to come in). But now I realize that I seem to have actually been her very first wax. It was painful, and after I got home, I realized how many spots were left un-waxed. I was a little frustrated because I had gotten this done pre-honeymoon so I wouldn't have to worry about anything. Anyway, my friend went right after me. Her experience was super painful as well, but even so, the girl made a comment about how her wax was going much better than mine had. I don't want to trash this place because we chose it based on its good Google reviews. We have only been the one time, but it was just a pretty bad, frustrating experience that felt like a waste of money despite the discount. For other customers, just educate yourself first on the types of waxes and decide what you want. And maybe request the owner or one of their most experience workers to do your wax.

Shelley did a very good job and was quick. It was my first time getting a Brazilian wax which is supose to be all your hair down there. Front and back, she didn't do the back half. Blush beauty bar was also doing a special for new clients the price online was $ 55 for the Brazilian wax and she charged me $65, which is the normal price. I won't be returning next month.

It was a good experience very nice up scale a bit pricey but She did a good job. 👍🏽 I had got my eyebrows and chin waxed and got charged $25.00 😬.

Holly is fast and knows what she's doing. I've been going every 4-6 weeks since November and I'm really satisfied with my results (Brazilian wax)
