Bob Miller Middle School

Can't wait to get out of this school. Ms. Espinoza takes away your stuff for the slightest reason. I was emailing someone today and she took away my phone because the bell rang after lunch. (By the way, you're allowed to have it out when you're in the courtyard and I was in the courtyard.) I hope high school is better than this. Either that or something needs to be done to her enforcement skills.

Medicore school. I am now a freshman in Coronado, but I feel relieved that I don't deal with the eye-opening experiences FROM THIS school. The deans were very understanding until...these last two years. They will attempt to get you in trouble for no reason. Mrs. Espinoza has been giving teachers various problems and same for students. I personally believe that she must be fired. Of course, you have the teachers that won't care or will be a nice person to hang around. The kids are very fake and annoying. I didn't have many friends here. I may be partially biased due to the personal drama outside of school. However, I would like to say this school is like being the tallest dwarf.

I love Bob Miller! Hands down. It is such a great place to be. I've learned so much and have met some really cool friends. I remember when I first came to Miller and was worried because I didn't know many people that were going here. But on my first day, it was a total blast! I had so much fun and was excited for the year ahead of me. Thank you to all of my teachers that have helped me become a better person. I am going to miss this place! But I know for sure that I will be back next year, ready to rock it!!! :)

I have went to this school for almost 3 years, I am in the 8th grade and I am pretty well spoken when I say that I would not personally put my child in this school. The students here are horrible. They are constantly judging, extremely fake, and want all the attention on them. Most of them are snobby rich kids who will do anything to become "popular". They are smoking weed in the bathrooms, drinking alcohol at lunch, and bragging about doing the dirty. The staff is a 50/50 I do not like either of the deans (Ms.Espinoza and Ms. Bolton) I had worn a shirt that didn't show any of my skin and i had a jacket over it and they had tried to dress code me. We had just gotten a new dean, Ms.Bolton who has changed some of the schools rules. If you want to go to the deans office you have to hand them your phone etc. The rules are overly strict and there are many fights. Ms. Espinoza makes a situation worse, like one time I literally ate a chip while on my way to lunch and I got 2 days of lunch detention. The teachers are not that great either, they have favorites, and their "favorites" can be talking about drama and rumors and not get in trouble and another student can be discussing the work and they will get in trouble.

There are lots of things wrong with this school. We have a lot of good teachers and assets that help us with learning a lot but I feel like the cons out weight the pros and they are just being ignored. Not to be feminist, but girls here aren't allowed to show bra straps, tie their shirts, or wear shorts in the summer because they are told its distracting. We can't even wear comfortable clothes for the convenience of someone else. We have to pay the price for someone else's actions. Also, the school tells us to have a healthy diet, but the only food they sell is unhealthy. Yes, they have a salad bar, but it isn't even organic healthy vegetables. Also, the staff makes us throw away food that we bought when we don't have lunch boxes to put them in after lunch in the courtyard. Secondly, there are lots of teachers that bully kids, but no one ever does anything about it. I'm not going to give any names, but one teacher segregated a classroom (black kids on one side and white kids on the other) and I was called disgusting and despicable by a teacher that isn't even mine. The staff at our school are very mean and my friend is in the lacrosse team. The lacrosse team worked very hard this year and won the championships!, but the school didn't even recognize that. They didn't even know there was a championships game at all.
