Cashman Middle School

Deserves less than 0 stars. 90% of the teachers are running of 16 and a half brain cells so they don't even know the basics of the subject their teaching. The administration is terrible too. They never look at bully reports and don't do anything to stop fights except for yelling at the students. There were constant fights and the ambulance would also have to be on standby. The teachers half assed everything they did and it was and still is a horrible school all around. I'm glad I left.

I’ll be sincerely honest and generous with my word choices here, this school is very interesting. I haven’t seen such inconsistency with the students, teachers, and staff. No one gives two craps about each other, so if you’re having a hard time at home why don’t you get an RPC slip and stay home? Have depression? No problem! We have staff plus teachers screaming at you 24/7! Honestly students who believe other students is the reason why the school is trash is an overstatement. If the staff actually understood that most of these students literally wanna kill themselves then they would think twice to RPC another student. Think for one second please, discipline is number one for trust and obedience, and if you think that’s our parents job, then you’re not half wrong. BUT considering we spend most of our day at school is basically saying administration wants to either ruin your record, or completely cripple your emotion. Does any of the staff understand that SCREAMING AND SCREAMING for the past three years would never solve anything by now? This school also doesn’t have any decent teacher to decently explain how to half the subject works. Take math for example, I have no idea what I’m doing because we’ve had a substitute for the past... WHOLE YEAR. Non of the teachers can get through one class time to properly give us work, because it’s either from the internet, or not specifically stated by the administration, but that wouldn’t matter because they don’t know squat about what the teachers are doing. You might say, “maybe if Cashman wasn’t located in a ghetto area it would be better.” You’re honestly an idiot, cause THE STAFF is the reason why Hyde Park and A Tech is nearly a five star. If our staff could please for the sake of my sanity please CHECK YOUR TEACHERS, PLEASE OH MY GOSH PLEASE HELP YOUR STUDENTS, PLEASE STOP SCREAMING AT US. Please, I cannot feel happy in that school... knowing students would bash you against the head to prove a point, or knowing your going to get a large project at the end of the year, or knowing you got a big test that concludes if you’re repeating the eighth grade. I’ve seen students cry because of their hopelessness, I’ve seen myself on the edge of completely breaking down and doing nothing. But you know what the staff would do about it..? Absolutely nothing, and if you’re saying that they would do something, then why would I be writing this..? Why would I be complaining if this school wasn’t a five star school? Please, don’t come to this school. If you can seriously cope with all these emotions, all these pep talks, all these betrayals, all this fear... then I still sincerely, Of the bottom of my heart consider you to choose another school. I cannot start with the amount of emotions I’ve had at this school. And if you think for one second that I’m bluffing anything that I’m saying, then consider the long ass paragraph I’ve set up for this review.

This school sucks I wouldn't recommend sending your child here because ur child will be suspended for the littlest things, tons of fight/threats here. School doesn't do anything till you say your sueing them then they will do something about the bullying, principal taton doesn't care about your child onlycareso about being pain and paying there empolyes. Doesn't care about the students being sexually harrassed each day, they will just tell your child to deal with it because it's life Again I don't recommend sending ANY of your KIDS here

It could be better. The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting, and no joke a kid defecated in a hallway. Honestly, though, that's the students they come and go. The teachers and staff stay much longer than the student. One dean yells constantly and suspends for no reason. I have some great teachers, my 6th grade math, 7th history, 7th science. Then others like my 7th math which was god awful. Still could be better.
