pro: There are some really great teachers! cons: 1. All the drugs (yep, it wasn't just a rumor and the school is practically filled to the brim with them). 2. The leadership program. If you came here for the magnet program, good luck. The AVID (or 'leadership' program) is just a complete scam, unless of course, you would like your child to learn each part of taking Cornell notes, and how to read Cornell notes, AND OF COURSE how to 'study' Cornell notes. (Over a continuous 3 Year period). The leadership teachers (all of them) don't help the program's reputation at all either. Sure, they plaster on a convincing smile and seem nice and all, but once the parents leave they become tyrants in the classroom. Honestly, the only thing even close to being a leader is being forced (unless you want to fail) to donate to a random sketchy charity every month. If you haven't gotten the message yet this school is completely horrible. Save your child and yourself some trouble and don't go to this living hell.

I think the school is pretty good The House Colors And the Great 8 is A Nice way to keep things organized and Safer { THEY ARE TRYING THERE BEST TO KEEP DRUGS AWAY FROM STUDENT'S} Half Of these comments are from the students so parents don't be scared of sending your children there Because I am one of the students Now Freshman MAGNET PROGRAM Ms Balom Mrs Moore Are Wonderful Leadership Teachers Even tho they make us do Cornell notes and TRF's it's for the best of your children And look at me Now In a Magnet Highschool And it's all because they push me to do better in school MADE WONDERFUL MEMORIES! Ms Amendralo Ms Balom Mr. Bonnet Especially My Math Teacher Mrs Hodrosky She Stayed up To help students when they don't understand even At 2:03 to 5,6,7 She's Just Amazing! I sometimes feel guilty that I haven't done much to be nice to my teachers I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD SAY THIS NOW I LOVE MATH!

Absolutely dislike this school. Students can curse in front of teachers and they could care less! The teachers can for nothing more than themselves, the dean is so ridiculous!! The dean will RPC you for nothing! Just so you are gone from the school. The rules and dress code is so ridiculous it’s unbelievable!! As if the ‘Gibson Great 8’ works, nobody follows those rules. My friend got called into the deans because she hasnt been there in a while and they were getting suspicious!! How rude is that to asume they are doing something bad!! Dont get me started on the ‘Leadership’ program. You do the same thing the entire year and is a absolute waste of time and money. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

This skool sucks ass as you can see I have terrible grammar and there bathroom nasty and I would give them 0 Starz but cNt I made the mistake of sighing up for the leadership program and it's really useless just a extra class of doing nothing.
