Reviews
If it weren't for the other students in this school, I would give this review a 5 star. Unfortunately that isn't the case.
I'm treated like a worthless human being here, by other students, not the staff. The actual school is fine, but the students here are mentally challenged. They bully people all the time, and no one cares to try and help other victims. I admit, I take part in some of it, but I don't like it escalating past a simple joke. The bullying usually continues on and on until the school day ends, or even the YEAR. I try to stop the bullying before it escalates, because I feel terrible for the victim. I get bullied all the time as well, and maybe I have matured faster than all these other freaks who go here, so I just end the situation right there.
There seems to be some sort of caste system in place at this school, and no one realizes it. What I have noticed is, you are "top of the food chain" if you are fat, tall, and not white. That might sound racist, but it's the truth. If you are tiny, a girl, and not white, you are "protected" by others simply because you are one of those categories. If you are a white male, you have to go so far out of your way to try and be with the "cool kids." I want to be with the "cool kids," but I don't want to fake my personality 24/7 just to say that I'm friends with the "cool kids."
I was literally walking down a hallway and some kid laughed at me because an essential part of the human body was showing out of my arms, a vein. HOLY ****, BETTER FREAK THE **** OUT!!!! XD. I get practically yelled at by 5 people because I ate a food "the wrong way" despite being told by my friend to do so (I guess this more of a criticism of modern America and obesity.) This one autistic kid (not actually autistic, but certainly acts like one) threw a book at me for no reason, and I asked him why, and this is his exact words, except the parentheses, "(mumbling)(shrugs his shoulders)don't know(continues to mumble)(looks up at the ceiling)." And I'm "friends" with him, too, because he sits across from me at the same table. People steal my things all the time, and I have to scavenge for them all the while people laugh at me in the corner of the room. Virtually everyone treats me like dog ****. If I were fat and tall and appeared to have muscles, no one would treat me like this, because prepubescent children don't know the difference between fat and muscles.
I don't know what is causing all this stuff going on, but it needs to be fixed right now. I don't mean getting rid of free speech, there are better solutions to this crisis. I would never have my kid go here ever, after the things I've dealt with. I've noticed it with friends that live in other states as well, so I guess I'm homeschooling. It's an epidemic of our modern school system, and I'm pretty sure it's the teachers in kindergarten/3rd grade who are causing these mindsets. This school has made me consider some thoughts I don't even want to talk about.
Also, I'll miss you, Ms. Duncan. You were the only reason I made it through 7th grade without shooting myself. 8th grade is almost over and I'm still alive, so that's cool. Goodbye.

This school is definitely middle school. I will explain this school in Pros and Cons. This is also based completely on my experience some may have different thoughts and experiences, but this is just my own opinion.
Pros
+Some of teachers are actually really good, but that does not mean ALL of them are good.
+The electives are usual, Orchestra, Band, Choir, and Art. (And Coding apparently.)
+Orchestra is great.
+Gym has great coaches and alot of fun activities.
Cons
-The parties. They are NOT fun at all. The music is your generic Justin Bieber. Oh yeah, did I tell you that after paying for a $1 (or $20 for 8th grade formal dance.) ticket, you have to make sure you have more money with you to the party so you can get more tickets, cause the other stuff is NOT free.
-Favoritism, I understand some students are good and never do anything wrong, but it is when the not so good students take advantage of the teacher picking on a few students only.
-The lunch is a waiting simulator. Lunch. Here. SUCKS, as usual. Have you ever got so tired of waiting that you think you're at the doctors? Just imagine that, but in a school full of more screaming kids. Oh yeah... did I ever tell you the one thing that was special in school like movies? Sitting anywhere in the cafeteria isn't allowed... so, say goodbye to your friends currently in paradise while you possibly sit with kids that'll spray Fanta all over you.. (True Story.)
-THE DRAMA. Drama is very normal, but it has gotten very drastic in my time here. But, that's only PART of it. The other part of it is 'RUMORS'. Say, one day, you're in class with your group mates then they say, "There will be a fight at Lunch!!". And guess what happens from there at lunch time.
-Thieves, well, do I need to explain this? Primarily happens in a music elective.
-Students overall, some are nice or chill, but most are unbelievable.
-The thing that I hate most about this school is how it assumes or automatically believes ANYTHING. I have gone to the dean before, they told me that I have been doing Drugs/Smoking on campus, and seriously, I absolutely hate Drugs/Smoking, I think it's the worst way for anyone to die. Here's another story, what would work? 'Someone has bullied me.' or 'HE MADE A DRAWING OF AN ANGRY FACE'. Well, if you thought Bullying was serious, this school doesn't apparently, except for some teachers. They'll expell that Angry Face drawing kid because "it could be a threat!!" The bullied kid gets expelled for "untruthful". They only care about the problems that seem like even a 2 year old can solve so easily.
-Regular v.s. Accelerated classes. For me, I recommend Accelerated, because in regular classes, you learn NOTHING. It doesn't mean there aren't good regular teachers, it's just alot don't teach the curriculum, even if they do, they do it incorrectly and makes it hard to pass.

I like this school bc
Ecause of my friends and I see people complaining and I understand why but..
Complaints:
The school lunch sucks-
Tbh its like that at every school so its not what makes the school bad.
There policies are horrible its no fair-
You realize that its not the schools full on choice its the districts the only reason why they "suck" is because y'all dont know how to handle yourselves
The school is not clean-
THATS BECAUSE YOU DONT CARE TO CLEAN IT OR OICK UP YOUR TRASH or someone's who left there's behind
There are a lot of fights-
Its not the schools fault its the kids who think violence is an answer.
All the teachers suck and don't teachor are never here-
They do. You don't listen. A teacher is ill its not there fault they can't come you have no idea what's going on. The teachers at schofield are really kind if you treat them with respect like how most of you don't
That's all for now thank you, also grow up
