This is one of my favorite places to go and take people who have never fish before. Easy access anywhere along the lake free to enter and easy parking. The lake is stocked regularly and good size trailer caught there you will also see a lot of fly fishermen on the river Below on the outlet of the Damned and some great trophy fish along that River it's the Truckee I believe. During the summer can be used for skiing boating and all the usual summer activities and gets a lot more busier this so fun to visit.

Awesome place to take pictures, enjoy nature, examine rocks, and feel the cool water on a warm day. I would definitely recommend going here.

My wife and I went here on our first date. We love to go and watch the sunset. It's so quiet and tranquil and a beautiful place just to go and hang out. The dog loves to splash around on the edge of the beach and the kids love sailing the remote controlled boat around. A great spot for all around family fun.

The lake was so peaceful and not at all crowded this year. Beautiful!
