Lake Mead

Tent camping on Crawford Cove was great, had a beautiful spot 30 feet from the lake. Most of the time it was quiet, had a few parties but they kept the noise down. Would camp there anytime. Everyone who was fishing caught a good number of fish.

Beautiful drive. I loved it. Tons of great pictures. If you visit the Hoover Damn stop by here right after. You get to see two amazing places in one day.

An amazing place to escape the bussle of the city. Amazing and quite coves and beaches. Although there are mussels in the water so beware. There is tons of wildlife including many native fish, water fowl, bald eagles and birds, reptiles, amphibians and plant and tree life. Also great place to go for a swim or to go on a floating vessel. There are also other things to do like the lake mead marina.

I have the annual pass for national parks so I didn’t have to pay the 20 dollar fee. Drove around the park and went to the marina. Great whole day affair. Staff was accommodating. Will have dinner at the marina tonight and sleep at the campground.

Nice place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the Vegas valley. Many different areas for swimming or if you have it, boating and more.
