Absolutely love this lake. It's out of the way Abit and doesn't take reservations so you need to plan your trip to get there before everyone else. It fills up fast. Been going here for over 40 years and it's my absolute favorite. Quiet and peaceful. No party clowns here.

The drive up is just as beautiful as the lake itself with views overlooking the cliff. It's about 20 to 30 miles of dirt roads which are mostly ok untill the end. The lake if filled with fish and is perfect for taking a kayak to. There are no beach areas at the waters edge just rocks at a slope. There are camping spots everywhere.

This is beautiful lake that they stock with trout. My only complaint is that there is hardly any accessible shoreline to fish from. I would suggest bringing a little trolling boat.

Hidden gem of the rim lakes. No limit fishing from sept 31st to March 31st. Plenty of forest camping spots when camping is closed or full.
