Very pleasant area for family or couples to spend few hours like campfire and the view
It's a bit of a trick to find the shorts of the Lakes because you have to hike down to it among the forest trees

This is a great place for a quiet camping trip. It is not as crowded as Woods Canyon and there are some awesome little meadows that my dog loves to explore. However, I don't think they stock the lake as much as Woods Canyon.

We go here quite a bit, we love it so does our dog. Nice open camp sites, the only thing that I would say is tough is the hike down to the lake. Some wildlife up there. They are thinning out alot of trees in order to make it more of a" park" which we really don't quite like, that's the reason why people go camping is to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

My dog and I's favorite lake to go to. Not much in terms of "beach" area, but we do some swimming and dry off on the rocks. Lots of crayfish along the rocky shore that like to grab onto your toes. A good amount of people are here on the weekends through the summer but it's pretty quiet during the week. Most vehicles are able to make it down the dirt road to get here.

Good little camping and fishing spot, nice place to take your dog. Walk down to lake slightly challenging.
