Great Late Spring camp Ground. Nice lake, store and plenty of hiking trails. The tent areas are very nice and clean. Especially during early season. Bring kindling and extra firewood.

One of my favorite campgrounds. Very clean, peaceful, lake, trails and deceivingly remote. So close to town without even feeling like it. Will return year after year.

This is such a wonderful lake to go to. You have to pay $5 unless you go on a Wednesday is free. You must have the cash. There are plenty of places to sit and have a picnic. We always have a great time. I will say that I think there are a lot of bees. There are 2 ways to get into the lake there is the North Shore and the South shore. There is a restaurant on the North Shore but I always like to go to the South shore because that is where the access point is for kayaks. We have seen tarantulas here too. Big black ones!

Nice lake that’s kept up. Smaller boats, kayaks, and paddle boats. 5 dollar charge to park, close to the cafe and shop, where the people were very friendly. There is beautiful walking trail around the lake.
