Roosevelt Lake was created in 1911 by the building of Roosevelt Dam. It is the largest and oldest man made lake in the state measuring 21,493 acres. It costs $6 dollars to camp on the shore and the view is amazing. While you are there, take time to visit the dam and Tonto National Monument which is just across the road.

Biggest instate lake, great for fishing and other water activities! Tonto forest day pass required.

It is amazing i love it here it os a great place to go i like i go there twice a month i would say to go there

Fishing was very slow, caught several large mouth bass (1-maybe 3 lbs). Great day at the lake. Recommended.
