Book Rack

There's a company cat that lives/works the register - need I say more? Seriously awesome book store, the staff has always been friendly and helpful to me. Definitely a bookstore for bookworms.

It's a great place with great employees you feel welcome when you enter the book rack. All types of books to choose from. Love the place.

Beautiful gem hidden off Gloria switch with a great selection of used books. When you walk in you can smell the stories resting on the orange shelves. The staff is friendly and the cat is great.

I found some of the books I was looking for. Lonesome Dove and No Country for Old Men (on the reading list for a 21st Century American Literature graduate class). The bookkeeper was helpful and friendly. A nice kitty cat slept in a chair. I read another reviewer say there was an odor. There was no odor besides the smell of books. To some people, older books smell like mold. To me they smell wonderful. There is a sizable romance section, but there is also science fiction, horror, westerns, thrillers, and religious texts in abundance. I saw good children's books and even a few poetry books. There is a decent selection of books about Louisiana. The collection is predominantly made up of popular books. Still, if you look around you might find something unusual.
