I have Crohn's Disease, migraines, and PCOS, and for most of my teenage and adult years I had major difficulties with symptoms and quality of life. Regular acupuncture with Dr. Zhang is what has turned my life around in a way that medicines, diet, yoga, and other approaches couldn't do on their own. In the beginning, I saw him a couple times a week, which was expensive but worth it. I was surprised to see results right away, and I continue to see excellent results. Now I see him less often for maintenance visits. I have been completely medication-free for years because of his treatments. He also helped me get pregnant (am now in my third trimester), which I was very skeptical could happen with all my health issues. He is the most effective medical practitioner I have ever been to (and I have been to the best specialists in the country!). He is also very responsive to requests for appointments (even next-day). If you have immune issues, migraines, or problems with hormones/fertility, I highly recommend Dr. Zhang. He is a miracle-worker.

I would like to share this most amazing cure that I got from John. He is a magician. I suffered from gastroparesis , means my stomach couln't digest food, or water. Everything i tried to eat, i vomited right away for hours. Everything i tried to drink i vomited as well. I had dry mouth, stopped getting period for 10 month and lost the taste in my mouth and most of my hair. Never felt hungry, and i felt like i have 3 tons of rocks is my belly. I went to so many diftent doctort, Tried so many medicins and I have been told that I cant cure my gastroparesis. I was constantly dehydrated, constipate and felt that I will never get better. Imagine not drinking caffe, water, not going to restaurants, no passion for food or taste. The first most basic thing that human can do- eat and drink. After 9-10 treatments with this amazing person, and during them, my mouth started to produce more saliva, I was able to use the restrooms, and slowly started eating. With the time I got my appetite back, and my hair. And not too long ago I got my period again!! After the terrible year that I went throw so many drugs, ER rooms, doctors, therapists, and holistic doctors- John was my only solution and hope . I got my life back. Thank you so much. Dr. Zhang has truly improved the quality of my life. I have been to other Acupuncturists but, none has been able to give me the quality treatments and more importantly the results then Dr. Zhang. I started going to him out of desperation from dealing with a sciatica, I could barley walk. I felt relief after one treatment. Now, I see him on a regular basis as he treats some other conditions I have; gastrointestinal issues, sinus issues, allergy issues and more when needed. The bottom line is I always come out of his office feeling better then when I went in. The actual effect may not happen immediately but, all of a sudden the next day you realize, I feel great. Once in his office for treatment you are pleasantly greeted, he listens to your concerns and tries to accommodate your schedule to meet your needs. As far as the treatment itself goes, don’t panic you never feel any needles going in and I very often fall asleep during my treatment I am so relaxed. Unfortunately, insurance companies do not cover such a wonderful, holistic treatment but, Dr. Zhang is worth every cent in fact, one would spend more to go out for a nice dinner but, I would rather feel better! In fact I have asked my children to give me the money for a treatment as a birthday or Mother’s Day gift because Dr. Zhang's treatments are just that good in fact, it is a 27 mile ride from my house….but so worth it! Words do not give justice to the experience of being treated by Dr. Zhang. As I stated in the beginning of this review Dr. Zhang has truly improved the quality of my life tenfold and for that I am grateful. I started seeing Dr. Zhang in January, for a VERY serious case of psoriasis. My skin was red, blistery and painful. I hadn't worn dresses or shorts in several years due to my embarrassment at the condition of my skin. I was desperate to find an alternative to the steroids and medications prescribed by my doctor, which would lower my immune system. I researched Chinese medical alternatives, found Dr. Zhang's website and immediately scheduled an appointment. He recommended dietary changes, treated me with acupuncture and provided me with an herbal tea that I drink daily. Each session brought improvement as the redness & blisters started to subside and my skin color became "normal" again. I could not be more pleased, and GRATEFUL, for his treatment because my psoriasis is SO much better. I never submit reviews but felt compelled to write one for Dr. Zhang because his knowledge and expertise has made such a monumental difference in the quality of my life! I thank you, Dr. Zhang…I will recommend you to anyone and everyone who could benefit from your healing powers.

Dr. Zhang is amazing! He is a great healer! I have severe migraine headache for over 10 years and has being treated by my regular doctor without relief. The past couple weeks it has been really bad, I cant sleep I cant eat and I cant work for almost two weeks.I was referred to Dr. Zhang by my doctor last week. I wen to see Dr. Zhang on Thursday, right after the 1st visit, my headache went away. Dr. Zhang saw me two more times after that and I have been headache free since then. I am very happy with Dr. Zhang's treatment. He is very nice and knowledgeable . His office is very comfortable and parking is very convenient. His receptionist is very sweet too. I love his office!
