Center and Spring Acupuncture

I'm a massage therapist in Brighton and whenever I get a client who I feel needs acupuncture I always send them to Maura. Her knowledge and skills are amazing and she has a lot of integrity which is rare in the industry. She's a good listener and has a deep understanding of her craft. All this makes her, in my opinion, the best in New England. I apologize if I sound overly effusive, but I honestly can't overstate how good Maura is. If you've tried acupuncture and were disappointed, THIS is the place to discover just how restorative and repairative acupuncture can be.

Maura's approach is methodical and I appreciate it. My initial visit was for localized pain and her treatment was outstanding. Since that time my periodic visits deal with fine tuning other issues. She is professional, personable, capable and my sense is a great diagnostician. now it is mid May. I've been having treatments with Maura for a while now and continue to be impressed with her skill and compassion. Feeling better, better and better!

Maura is not only highly skilled and knowledgeable, she is compassionate and GENTLE! I am super sensitive and past experiences with other practitioners kept me from using this modality until I met Maura. It was still several years (and a health crisis) before I came to her offices. I knew she would be skilled and was prepared to be uncomfortable for the benefits...What a pleasant surprise, my sessions were powerful, but gentle... and extremely effective. I am grateful and encourage anyone with trepidation to go and experience this powerful healer.

Maura Twomey is a highly skilled and compassionate acupuncturist. Her treatment is more than just acupuncture - she discusses your total state of wellness at each visit and offers stress-reduction advice to practice throughout the day. She is incredibly caring, understanding, and comforting - I felt completely at ease from the first visit. I 100% recommend Maura!

Maura is fantastic. She is supportive and thoughtful; and she approached my serious back pain in new ways that were very helpful for me. In addition to the acupuncture practice, she offered me self care stretches and exercises that were straightforward but remarkably useful -- and thought about my challenges in holistic ways that many other back specialists had failed to do.
