First hotel I’ve stayed that wasn’t able to accommodate an earlier check in. Bathroom had no where to hang towels to be able to reuse them. Not very eco friendly. Brunch food was fine. Brunch service was good. Concierge was helpful. Best part of hotel was location. Right on water. Very convenient to historical Boston and North End.Rooms: 3/5
Perfect location for easy access to the most popular historic sites. Harbor view is wonderful and peaceful. Our room was immaculate and well appointed with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Concierge service onsite was excellent as well as front desk and transportation personnel. Waterline restaurant offered delicious food for every meal and they offer a great drink selection at the bar. This was my first time staying in Boston and I would definitely stay here again when I return.
Room was nice. Location was great. Was it worth the price? We used points so I guess so. I would’ve been just as happy at another Marriott at a reasonable price. Wife wanted on the water. There was a convention happening so the bar was loud and crowded. The open area the convention ate at created a very load noise that carried through the hotel to all floors. It was an experience, but not one I have to repeat.
Was checked into an occupied room and walked in on the occupants! Was upgraded into a suite for the error. The shower had no water pressure. When I tried to go into the hotel restaurant to sit and have coffee, I was told that only breakfast buffet customers were allowed into the restaurant. If I was only going to have coffee, I needed to go to the "walk-up" counter downstairs. For such an expensive hotel, I felt that the overall experience was very poor.
We had our wedding weekend here! We had rehearsal and drinks in the hotel bar on Friday night. Then Saturday we had the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception onsite. Sunday morning we had a private brunch. The service was incredible- they thought about details we didn’t even know to ask. Meg was truly our saving grace many times throughout the weekend! Cannot say enough positive things about our experience!
We loved the hotel. Great location right next to subway stop, across the driveway from the Aquarium, a block from Quincy Market. Walked to the North End for dinner both nights. My kids loved swimming in the pool. Very comfortable hotel. Nearby activities: Easy subway ride to Fenway and Museum of Science. Walkability: Very close to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall. Easy walk to the North End. Right next to the T subway entrance.
Excellent location. Service on par. Rooms well-appointed some with views of Boston Harbor. The only downside is the expensive parking in the area. If flying to/from Boston Logan, take the T from the Aquarium Station which is adjacent to the hotel. $60 valet parking or $40+ for public parking in the area is outrageous.
Loved everything about the hotel, the room was spacious and beautiful. The restaurant was fantastic and staff were really nice. The sous chef in the restaurant from Dominican Republic, Yasmalinda, was so kind and talented, my kids adored her. Definitely will be backRooms: 5/5
Used points to book this for one night, rendezvouing with boo after she flew in from in from London and I from LA before heading out to ptown on the ferry though turns out our ferry was not at the dock just outside, but one a mile away. They did accommodate an early check in after I showed up after my red eye at about noon. The room was standard bon voy but the Harborside room view was great, we could see the seals cavorting in the aquarium across the way. They also have a nice indoor pool/outdoor view deck with commanding views of the surrounding harbor area. Everything except for the building itself and the location is standard bon voy, so either you dig it or you don't. Plus one to the people commenting on the noise coming up from the lobby. They had a Lady playing solo violin in the lobby and we could clearly hear her in our room with the door closed, not something boo wanted to hear after getting stuck on the tarmac of Logan for 90 minutes. Certainly wouldn't pick this spot at full price but was happy with it as a points pick. Rooms: Standard bon voy Nearby activities: Harbor, the green strip, historic Boston are all right there. Safety: Very. Very few homeless in the area etc. Walkability: Highly Food & drinks: Standard bon voy Noteworthy details: The building, the harbor views.
Stayed at the Long Wharf for a wedding. Beautiful event! This location is ideal for everything walkable, boat-able. Enjoyed fabulous area restaurants and parks.Rooms: 4/5
