We had an excellent experience at the Langham. Above all because of the exceptional customer service we were provided. The entire staff was entirely warm, friendly, and helpful, but two staff members in particular went the extra mile and made us feel so incredibly welcome. Jenna and Josselyn, who work at the front desk, treated us with such kindness- as if we were VIP! Just above and beyond fantastic hospitality. They were also so accommodating to our dog who was traveling with us, which was perfect. The hotel is beautiful, we felt as if we were in London! The rooms are very spacious and the beds were heavenly to sleep in! The gym facilities are extensive, and the hot tub and pool was exactly what we needed. The restaurant and cocktail bar are beautifully designed, and our cocktails were world class. The location of this hotel is also fantastic, close to all of the restaurants, bars, and sights to see. And as fantastic as all of those elements were, the hospitality shines in the forefront. Would absolutely stay in this hotel again and look forward to discovering more in the group!
We were very happy with our visit. Staff is very polite and make you feel extremely comfortable. I believe it’s been recently remodeled. The design is very nice overall. Clean room, nice bed, and great bathroom. The food is good at Grana, and room service is also very good. We stayed in a room close to the elevator, so it can loud at night. I think they should either make the room’s door more noise proof or figure something else out. Otherwise, pretty happy with our stay.
This was honestly one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. We stayed in one of the two story suites - beautiful, cozy, clean and plenty of space for our family. We had access to the club level which was amazing for snacks, appetizers and cocktails. All of the staff was so nice and accommodating. The location was very walkable to most hot spots in Boston. Can’t say enough wonderful things!
We had a fabulous experience staying at the Langham with an 8 year old. She loved all of the extra kid-friendly touches like a bathrobe in her size, pool, and treat upon arrival. We adults loved the super comfortable bed, attentive housekeeping, and excellent location. Will definitely be back! also- the entire hotel smells delightful and the entire building is gorgeously decorated.
Amazing beds and pillows. Service is very attentive. I was here for work so did not have a chance to truly enjoy but there is history in every corner of the hotel. And it has beautiful views. This photo is from my room of a beautiful park right across the street!
So disappointed with the customer service I received. My wife and I had to cancel our reservations because a friend is having there baby early. I called 1 hour and 10 minutes past the cancellation time. I didn’t ask for a refund, I wanted a credit since this was unexpected we can come another weekend. The first person mentioned I would have to call the number again, and try to speak with a manager. No voicemail, I would need to keep calling back. Zero empathy was shown, and I was over charged with the cancellation anyway. I had to call back a third time and get a customer ticket sent to billing. I will say, the third person I spoke to and submitted the billing request executed the level of customer service I originally expected from a hotel rated this way. She represented the hotel well. I must say, to not provide a credit when it comes to situations like this, really disappointing. I would understand if it was a few hours from checking in. But 1 hour after the cancellation, a little care would have been appreciated.
The owner, manager, and staff at the Langham have the hotel biz figured out. It’s not the building, or the drapes, or the lobby, it’s the people. They’ve obviously hired all the right people. Everyone on property was friendly, outgoing, engaging and sincere. We felt at home immediately. Kim the concierge is the perfect concierge!!! Thank you for making our brief stay so great!!
My wife and I traveled to the Langham for a one night stay to attend a concert at the Orphium theater which is only a 10 min walk from the Langham or if you choose you can arrive in style at the theater in one of the hotels complimentary luxurious cars in true VIP treatment. This is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at, the staff was amazing! Parking was super convenient valet or the parking garage to self park which is across the intersection. Everything about our stay was top notch from the staff to the building and rich history to the cocktail lounge "The Fed" which by the way makes a perfect rye old fashioned and a darn good bloody marry as well. If you do stay here make time to explore the building we found it well worth it. Last but not least a huge shout out to Hannah. Thank you for booking our wonderful experience!
Stayed one night to celebrate our wedding anniversary in the city. Alex, one if the concierge, was so sweet and kind on check-in. The hotel itself is immaculate. Everything is clean and new. We had a wonderful stay and wish it had been longer.Rooms: 5/5
Our phone did not work in our room, so we couldn’t make any calls for room service. I contacted the front desk about this issue with my personal cell and they said they’d have someone up, but no one ever came. There’s no breakfast options other than the Grana, which is obviously going to cost a pretty penny being a 5 star hotel, and there’s no other breakfast options around the hotel. Everything around this hotel doesn’t open until noon. Also I see people saying they had good room service but I didn’t see a menu and my room phone didn’t work to order so guess it didn’t much matter for my stay.
