Wow, simply wow. Big shout out to CJ for taking care of me at the bar, food and drink wise. The burger and fries were an outstanding simple recommendation that far exceeded not only my expectations but even my dinner at Coquette.
Great late night eats. Small menu. But very tasty. I had the butter lettuce salad and the duck confit. Yum! The fig old-fashioned is delicious too.
Great cocktails. Best burger in the city!! crab claws were really good. Friendly service. The outdoor courtyard has great ambiance. One of the few spots you can go to get good late night food and drinks
We found this place randomly walking on Magazine, we were surprise how simple and good the food were, truly a gem in Garden District. Best french fries I have had in New Orleans, perfect place for a good drink and quality food, the vibe is amazing is like having a great time at your friends house
Popped in for some late night cocktails and ended up getting some snacks because why not. Loved the ambiance of sitting at the bar and the cocktails were some of the best in the city- truly craft. We had onion dip and wings- both were amazing! The house potato chips with the onion dip were the best chips I’ve ever had! All the drinks we tried were delish.
Very fresh and elevated burger! The goat cheese & crostinis appetizer was alright but not as satisfying as I wanted. The salad was also just okay. Portions on the smaller side.
I’m not sure y this has the name tavern it’s definitely not a dive bar it’s an amazing place to eat lighter food & just enjoy Magazine st. Absolutely love love everything we had sorry couldn’t stop eating to take pictures of it all whipped goat cheese & peppers, red pepper dip my favorite & o man the fries with herb aïoli was wonderful at well will definitely b back!!!
What an interesting spot. All kinds of fun small nosh plates. I didn't get to try as we were getting martinis to go pre dinner down the street. I def will come back because the menu and wine selections are top nnotch!
Had an amazing experience here. Food and drinks were amazing. The viva Zapata is a must try. Go there for CJ the bartender, greatest bartender
Michael was our waiter and we had the absolute best time, wow! We ate at the bar. He made our first experience in New Orleans a memory that we will cherish forever.
