Lake Ford did a great job with the process of ordering a new 2023 Ford Ranger. It was great to be able to pick out the specific features I wanted. I traded in 2 vehicles which Lake Ford made easy. Financing was clear and the rate is good. The sales staff was very professional and I never felt pressured. Great experience in a getting a new Ford!
As a first time car buyer I was very skeptical about the entire "car salesmen" stigma. But my experience from the beginning with Lake Ford was nothing but smooth and zero pressure sales. They understood my concerns and what I was looking for. AJ and Nick were both incredibly helpful and did a wonderful job of making me feel as if they truly were looking out for my best interest! AJ is a blast, young dude and incredible energy!
I had a very good experience while purchasing my 2017 Ford Explorer from Lake Ford. My salesman Chris, "Panda", was especially helpful and caring through the entire process. Not pushy at all ! The dealership itself was very well kept and very clean. They take pride in making an inviting and comfortable atmosphere for their customers. I felt that the deal that I got for my new purchase and trade in was fair, and they were able to come to an agreeable price for all parties involved.
I had my vehicle serviced at this location because there was a warning message appearing on my dashboard, it end up needing a $35 part replacement and the total was $430, I understand that services at a dealer aren’t going to be cheap but this seem a little to excessive. Also, I’ve been having issues with one of my doors not closing like it supposed to and there is a recall about the latch and I was told that they couldn’t replicate the issue when they tested the door so I guess they thought I was lying about the issue just because they couldn’t replicated it for the few times they open and close the door. So maybe they really want my door not to close at all at any time for them to believe me. The person that took care of me was respectful and polite.
Had some minor issues with a used vehicle I purchased from Lake Ford, roughly 5-6 weeks after purchase. The issue was with a faulty brake sensor, but the car is a BMW so I wasn't sure on servicing at this dealer. When I purchased the car, my sales rep Josh stated: "if we can sell it, we can service it!". My service advisor was Brian and he went above and beyond to keep me happy and get everything taken care of. I had to take a loaner for a couple days while they worked it out and it was easy and hassle free. I have now purchased two used vehicles from Lake Ford, as well as leased a new Tahoe from Lake Chevy, and I can safely say they have earned my trust to continue to keep coming back for future purchases.
It would be helpful if customers are informed ahead that you no longer take checks, which I used in the past. It would be helpful if the phone message would give hours the dealership and service are open, as I did not know Service was closed on Saturday until I got there. I was very satisfied with the service performed. Craig Prochaska kept in contact with me and even though it was an unanticipated service, therefore no appointment, he was able to get it done promptly, knowing I depended upon getting my car back. The explanation of what was needed & importance was very thorough.
Joe is fantastic as is Ryan. Excellent experience from start to finish, which was basically 24hrs. Super product knowledge by Joe. Actually landed me in a toy different vehicle from the 2 I was coming to test drive. He listened to my needs wants and desires in a new to me SUV. Switched me to the Explorer with 202a package and I bought. Sold before we made it out of the lot on a test drive. Ryan ib business office was equally fantastic!!! What a pleasant experience buying this vehicle. Never met any upper management and that's not an easy thing to do. 1st time at a dealership I haven't, but with Joe and Ryan handling the deal there was no need. Go to this dealership and see Joe.
Finally Took delivery of my 2022 Bronco on 7/15. Two years and two days after I reserved. This was a LONG process from reservation to ordering, to all types of production and shipping delays which plagued the rollout of this awesome vehicle. None of that was the dealer's fault, nor within their control. But they sure got to hear customers whine about it...myself included! Anyhow, Lake Ford, and my salesman Alec VanHecker, were honest, communicative, and helpfull throughout. Once my vehicle finally showed up, delivery was an absolute breeze. They honored agreed pricing, and gave me an additional rebate Ford offered for customers who had a longer that expected wait. 100% happy with this purchase experience!
They get the work done but not much else. I have been here 3 times for service because of the location. 2 out of 3 times I was severely let down on the time constraints of timely service. I have a tight schedule and as such I schedule to be the first one through the door in the morning when they open. I have been deceived on when my vehicle would be worked on all 3 times. I had to go to work on 2 out of 3 times I dropped it off. This is very unprofessional. I understand things come up but be honest with me and tell me that you can not get to the vehicle in a timely manner. I will reschedule immediately. I would go to another dealership but location is convenient for me.
