I purchased A 2016 C 300 Mercedes Benz from Lake Chevrolet with extended warranty. However the panoramic sunroof became damaged so I brought the car in for repair under warranty accordingly to STEVE A service rep. and that’s when the terror started. They caused more damages to the vehicle and to add insult to injury they brought in A third party window repair guy whom knew nothing about MERCEDES BENZ to help remove more things off the car to which they came to A conclusion that couldn’t do the job that LAKE CHEVROLET wanted to do in-house instead of sending the vehicle to A Mercedes Benz specialist. Mercedes informed me once my sunroof was repair but told me that they were not responsible for putting the car back together because they didn’t want to be held responsible for the unnecessary damages caused by LAKE CHEVROLET. Beyond that my vehicle will lose trad in value which will cost me out of pocket. Also, they never gave me A loaner vehicle from 4/28/22 to 5/22/22. NICK THE SO-CALLED MANAGER blatantly disregarded the NEGLIGENCE towards my vehicle and hung up on me..
I was in and out, Scott the salesman was professional and friendly, it was a great day for us both!! Update: it’s been 5 months since this review and 16 days after I bought this vehicle it literally fell apart and has been at Lake ever since, communication has fell void and I’m at a complete loss waiting on a $30 part. Feel free to reach out and help to rectify this incredible loss.
I was in a couple of times this week and the new salesman Noah has been very attentive to my needs. He's going to be going places in this business! It's great to see they're finally getting new cars they were some in the showroom! You have to see the inside of this dealership! It's been completely remodeled and it is gorgeous in there! It's worth the trip just to see the inside of the building! Noah is looking for a special car for me for a friend and I appreciate his getting back to me several times!
I normally dread car shopping but Nick and his team made it unusually easy for me. I was traveling for work several weeks in a row but Nick made it easy and we took care of almost everything without me having to set foot into the dealership. They took the time to understand what I needed in my next vehicle and did not try to oversell/put me into a different vehicle based on what was on the lot. Nick was very respectful & patient with me throughout the whole process. He was also very knowledgeable and knew not only the Chevrolet lineup but their competition's lineup of vehicles as well. Very satisfied customer!
Purchased a 2020 Chevy Malibu in late 2022. Luis was extremely professional and low pressure to work with. Walked us through the process and helped my wife understand some of the newer features her last car was a 2007 truck. Excellent experience, would buy from again. The car had just been traded in and had some minor damage to the front bumper. Repairs were handled and the car is great! Couple of cons - didn't have the second key available, had to go back to get that. Also did not include the car registration in the take home packet. Both issues were rectified within a couple of days. 5 stars
How is it possible that couple months ago I purchased a 2021 pick up truck and the battery died in me 4 times now. I took it to the dealer and you said there was a dead cell so the battery needed to be replaced. And you charged me for it approx $200.00 !!!! You argued it wasn’t covered by the warranty even though I purchased an extended warranty that it was sold to me that’s its cover bumper to bumper!!! And regardless of it! How old the battery could be2 years?? 3?? I drove it less than 300 miles and I needed to purchase a new battery for a 2021 model?? I’d it was older than 5 years I could totally get the battery needed to be replaced But the truck hasn’t even reached 50K miles!! If the batteries are dying because vehicles are sitting, then you should replace it for free when this is a year old model. I felt lied about the warranty… and you may say it is in the fine print which is the typical disclaimer when people hide the truth when selling extended warranties. The gentleman who thanks es my case was very respectful and polite but I know he has to follow corporate protocols so he’s limited in what he can do… it’s embarrassing a battery for this model needed to be replaced in less than 3 months of purchase
We made an appointment for 11am on Monday by 4pm we still haven’t heard anything about our car. We then had to wait until the following day to be told what is wrong with our car. We were quoted near $5,000 worth of repairs. We decided to pick our car up so we could decide what financially we were going to do. Upon going home we did not have the paperwork like we were told about what was wrong and the break down of all costs. We called back and were told are you sure you don’t have it. Of course we were sure why else would we waste our time calling back for it. The guy then said he would email it to us the following day. Never happened. Now we called on Friday still waiting for our complete breakdown of our quote. This alone is completely ridiculous. Everyday we waste is a day I don’t have a car to drive to work and costs me even more money to rent and borrow another car. When we finally were able to talk to someone Friday about what is going on we were told the guy who was working with us no longer works there and he has voided out our entire quote. So as of now we still don’t even have a breakdown of what is exactly wrong. We were told hopefully early next week we will get it. And to be honest I have no faith that what I was told is wrong is really what is wrong now. He told us something over the phone that it was but the other person said it was something else. When you are quoted $5,000 worth of work and then told by 2 different people it is 2 different things what would you think. I am completely frustrated with how this was handled. I can’t believe I had to pay $157 for a diagnosis in which I still don’t even have what is wrong. So I paid for nothing. I honestly wish I never even went here in the first place. I can’t trust if I let you fix my car that it will even be fixed. So thank you for absolutely nothing.
Service: Purchased my Chevy in 2012 and have been getting it serviced at Lake Chevy since then. The Service Department and Service team have been absolutely amazing throughout the years. They have continued to keep me updated throughout the service visit and I have always felt that I was being taken care of as a customer. I don't want to knock on my vehicle, but it has seen the service department alot. I have grown to have a great relationship with the The service team and their service technicians. Thank you Lake Chevy for the past decade of service and keeping my Chevy in top working condition and on the road.
Everyone was friendly and the repair was speedy, but with going through Steve in service I was almost charged an additional ~$300 due to my repairs being input incorrectly in the computer before I told him I was going to go somewhere else to get it fixed and he double checked it curious to know if I hadn’t said I was going elsewhere if I would have paid that additional/unnecessary fee… and he had misplaced my keys and the paperwork had to be reprinted when I picked up my vehicle. Overall… the issues were resolved and my vehicle is repaired properly. Just going to be extra cautious if I come back.
Chris was Amazing!! It was the easiest purchase I have ever had! Never even left my house…. He even delivered it to me! No more endless hours at the dealer! Thanks Chris for all your hard work to make my experience the best experience I’ve honestly ever had
