Bravadas Wigs Store - Fairfax

Not everyday do you go shopping with your Mom for new hair because she is about to start chemo. It's something no one wants to do. With that being said, Tracey was really great. We walked in about 15 minutes early to our appointment and started looking around at the different styles. She let us know she was finishing something up and she would be right with us. I could tell my Mom was apprehensive about being there, as she rightly should be. We picked out a few styles and Tracey explained the pros and cons of synthetic vs blend vs real hair. There was no stone left upturned when we were trying to decide. She let us try on as many as she liked until we found one that was so perfect for my Mom that no one would even know it was a wig compared to her normal hair. A big thank you goes out to Tracey for being so kind and considerate of a not so great situation. We had fun with it as much as we could and learned a lot. We would recommend Bravadas and Tracey to anyone looking for a new style when life changes a little expectantly.

Afua was terrific! She spent time explaining all the different hair pieces and I tried several on. I was interested in a Halo Extension and ended up with a Topper as well - 2 great products and a lot of fun to wear! I would recommend Afua and this store to my friends.

They were booked for appointments but said we could come in as a walk in. One lady had a client (another walk in) and the other lady had to help us. She was dark skinned with a deep accent. She was VERY rude. She told my friend that she couldn’t try on several wigs because she would get “emotional.” She was very unprofessional. She let her try on 3 and wouldn’t take the transaction any further. We had gotten our friends together and were prepared to spend $500 on a wig for our friend that is going through chemo. This employee even snatched one right off of her head when she said she wanted to take a pic and send it to her husband. How does this person stay employed??? You have a 50/50 chance of having her help you. Don’t risk it!!! Find another wig shop.

I was skeptical! A wig? Me? I had so many questions, and a lot of doubt. Thank goodness Lisa H. recognized my feelings and patiently and carefully showed me the options that would work for me, out of the many, many choices available. In truth, she knew from the moment I walked in just what I needed. And she was 100 percent right. I am thrilled with my wig, and I feel confident wearing it. Thank you so much, Lisa.

Worst experience... If you think they provide an hour consultation to explain...You are very wrong. My experience: Multiple appointments at the same time. Hardly spent around 5 -10 minutes. No detail explanation for the very first time customer. They have a brouchure but cannot be given to the customer to view. The rep decides what is best and will show only that page in the brouchure. Waste of time at this store. Very bad experience. Will never recommend this store.
