This place is a true gem. It’s getting harder and harder to find old diners and soda stores and apothecary’s and this place is a combination of all 3! The bar stools are original and from 1946, little piece of history- when it was built it was the largest shopping building in the state. It was really neat that they had old artifacts and medicines on display in the original bottles and packaging. We had an omelette with ham and cheddar along with every type of veggie in it, and a cheeseburger and fries. Both were fantastic. We had a root beer float and an ice cream Sundae with extra of their homemade whipped cream and it was even better than the fudge. Service was great, we were waited on by an enthusiastic young local waitress who had only been there 3 weeks. This is one of those must visit places in Jackson. We would definitely come back!

Looking for the retro dining feel then this is the place. My son enjoys their cup of ice cream with is enough for two to share and I love their fresh cut fries and the Cookie Monster Ice Cream treat Kid-friendliness: They have a small section of kid friendly toys. Parking: Parking is accessible and on lower level some parking is available in front of the building.

Nice atmosphere. Cheese soup is to die for!! Had the BLT. Also got a hot fudge sundae and they did not skimp on the hot fudge! Definitely will be coming back

What a treat! Like stepping back in time, in the relaxing, take time for family kinda way. Onion rings are very good, tuna melt and cheeseburger filling, sundaes are HUGE and shouldn't be missed! However, the service at Brent's Drugs was the absolute best part of this visit! If you're in Jackson,for a family vaca, sweet romantic date or just want something a little different than the usual, add Brent's to your day!

I loved the atmosphere in this place. Had an awesome waitress, great hamburger and Onion rings. Had to try the chili cheese fries, best I've ever had.Food: 5/5

Super friendly staff! This place is very fun, if ever so slightly run-down. The food is good, the shakes are amazing, and again the staff is incredibly friendly and nice! It is a unique experience with fascinating heritage. There's even a speakeasy in the back as well! It's a good stop for a fun date on a hot day or a cool evening.

It was pretty cool getting to eat in such an iconic place. It was as busy as I expected but we were seated fairly quickly. The food is what you'd expect from a great diner, excellent. Great atmosphere and decor. Only "negative" was that the chicken on my biscuit was kind of puny.

An absolute must. This dinner was great. The burger was great and so was the drinks from the soday bar. But I would go back here just for the fries! Kid-friendliness: The kids loved the icecream!
