Bridgeport Marine

We purchased what we thought was our dream pontoon "new" in 2018. Several issues occurred such as: tears in bimini, bent bimini posts, steering counsel came loose as wood it was attached to was cracked, railing bent severely while traveling down the road. After several weeks, months, and now over a year worth of calls we are now told that several repairs are not covered under warranty. We were lied to several times and have emails saved to back this up. The company will no longer talk to us now. Terrible customer service and the company will not stand behind the product.

Cylinders got wet due to submerging. Suppose to fix right away. Took 3 weeks to get back. Upon taking it out for the first time motor failed. Brought it back says that cylinders are scored and not their problem. Out 3800.00 because of incompetence. I'd rather take my boat motor to Wal Mart.

These Guys are GREAT! They have a great selection of New and Used boats to check out. I stopped by to take a look at a used boat & ended up leaving with a Brand New Boat. The pricing was so unbelievable on a similar floorplan New boat, compared to the used boat we stopped to look at, I just couldn't pass it up. Boater Beware I purchased a boat from them that was stored and maintained by this company everything about this purchase was a huge pain. First I drove from Fargo to look at the boat I bought I had a appointment with the sales person Jon who left to lunch when we were due to arrive so my wife and I had to wait about 30 min for this guy to even show up. When we were able to look at the boat it was very dirty the owner told us it had been cleaned and waxed and stored indoors. The boat was covered in dust and dirt did not look like it was stored indoors or cleaned Also had hydr fluid on the trailer was told that they had fixed a trim pump, it was not fixed leaks down in a hour. Got to test drive boat on the river boat would not start had to be jump started. I found new battery was installed but cables were not tight. I purchased boat drove it twice and motor locked up by hydro-locking had cracked heads and block from improper winterizing i was told by my machine shop after I had motor broke down and checked by my local machine shop. The original owner paid this company to winterize, clean, wax, and store the boat indoors and this company took his money did not perform any of the work then sold me a defective boat this company destroyed! I was also told this company meticulously maintained the boat for him and also charged original owner $1000 for out drive work yet when I purchased the boat the out drive had what looked like the original anodes on it still and out drive paint was starting to corrode. So bridge port charged over a grand for out drive work and left $40 routine maintenance parts to rot. I see now that this company has no idea what they are doing so I am issuing a fair warning DO NOT BRING YOUR BOAT HERE IF YOU LOVE HER! When I tried to talk to the manager about the issue he said he can no longer talk to me and there is nothing they are going to do about it :-) wow Heads show mineral deposits leaking from hairline cracks I had boat out twice in two weeks no time for this type of deposit to form this is old damage.

We have done business with Bridgeport Marine for over 10 years. The are always accommodating, honest and trust worthy. We have also referred many friends and family over the years. If you have any type of boating needs we would highly recommend Bridgeport Marine.
