First time for us. I was impressed with the employees. They were very busy and were a well oiled machine! Every employee with spoke with was friendly! The food was awesome! We were told the chicken Shawarma was good. It was great! We also had lamb hummus and it was terrific! Glad we stopped!
One of the best places in town to grab a chicken shawarma. Marinated in their blend and cooked to perfection, this is the go to for Mediterranean on the go. Servers are typically fast and friendly however, there is one that deserves special mention here. Her name is Kayla. She greets you at the register with a big, friendly smile, is patient with you and very personable. She gets 6 stars for her customer service skills. They have a few locations but this one on E. Jefferson and the one on Woodward Ave in Royal Oak are the best. Also the desserts are homemade and delicious. Treat yourself and stop in sometime
Very good fast Shawarma place The food and service quality has been going downhill while prices are going up but still one of my favorite place in the area. Sometimes it’s worth driving to downtown for a shawarma They have multiple locations in the area close to the Ford stadium so a quick descent eat is never far
My first time trying anything Mediterranean besides a gyro. Oh my gosh, the salad had the right combination of ingredients that made a perfect explosion of awesomeness. Now the lamb shawarma, this should go on your MUST TRY list if you ever visit Detroit. Simply perfect, no other description will do it proper justice. I'm back in Atlanta, daydreaming of this meal, trying not to drool on my keyboard at work.
The location on Jefferson is good.. Not my favorite though. Whoever took my order the other day was not friendly and on her phone the entire time I was there, she said "27.83 cash or card" & said it so fast, my boyfriend asked how much? because he didn't hear the price clearly, again she says "27.83 cash or card" the exact same way but the lady who called my number, to get my to go order was really sweet and full of smiles! You must check your to go bag before you leave the building, says the sign on the wall. I did check my bag and was missing my sour cream for the quesadilla. I highly recommend the chicken shawarma salad, the small is very large and the large is HUGE! I love the garlic dip and it is different than when you order the garlic SPREAD so don't get them confused! Pita with the garlic dip is excellent! Best bang for your buck, here in Detroit! So fresh, and I could eat here once a week at least!
I used to love this place but the last numerous times has been the same. Ive been a fan for years, but now have to Duke it out with management over lettuce which is the cheapest and most wasted product in the restaurant. Or whats the difference between a small and large cause it seems to me the container, not portion. Im now so tired of the battle. I ordered a large chicken shawarma salad. A large salad is really small, but put in a larger container to appear to be more. The meat portion is the same as a small. I asked for extra lettuce with at an additional cost of course. My order is always the same. Large chicken shawarma salad with meat on the side, pita chips separated so they stay crunchy, and extra lettuce. I use to not be able to eat a large in one sitting, so ill preserve the rest for later. But you see the pics. Hell I barely have any lettuce then it's the root portion bitter garbage, no green leafy lettuce. The greenish portion of this salad is the bell peppers. I have to buy a bag of salad to make up for what's missing. I was better off just buying the meat and making my own salad. This is a love hate relationship cause I keep telling myself they just made a mistake next time it will be right. Just give me my 6pk shawarma my salad days are not worth the cost or errors. At least in my 6pk I'll get green leafy lettuce. Maybe next time I'll have a better review.
They had some awesome Shawarma and Falafel. Great ambience and friendly staff. They have several locations within detroit. Order a box if you’d like some fries with your wrap. They have both curly fries and French.
I usually go to their other location, but went to Jefferson since a friend lives near there and wanted the chicken salad. I had ordered the lamb shawarma. I was so disappointed. It was so greasy, I had to throw it away. Grease was dripping off it and all in the bottom of the bag. I tried to eat some of it, but it was so greasy it was making me sick. The lamb was dry and the bread was covered with grease throughout. I will not be going back to this location. Parking: Parking lot. Wheelchair accessibility: You can bring a wheelchair into the location up to a table
Food is always fresh, made to order. Reasonable prices, large portions. Cashiers are always polite and friendly. Very well staffed. Short wait time, if you choose to walk in and order.Food: 5/5
Great quick bite. They were very friendly. One wrap chicken was over cooked. I like the location and good parking. I felt safe going there after dark.Food: 4/5
