Went here for lunch with my Ma since we both work close by. It wasn't too bad during lunch hour. The food and service were both good. Also liked that there was a lot of parking unlike some of the other places in the downtown area. Parking: Plenty of free parking when we went, right in eastern market.
First time visiting Vivio's, and it will not be the last! I ordered the Spanish mussels, while my partner had a burger. The mussels were fantastic! Generous portion with so much flavor. The bloody mary's are also delicious. We will definitely be back!Food: 5/5
Stopped in here one Saturday afternoon with a few friends. Great little place. Love the atmosphere and the food was solid. Everything we ordered was great. The mussels were fantastic as was the Cheesesteak sandwich.Food: 4/5
My 1st visit to EM was wonderful. There were a lot of options in organic produce and many vendors outside of the typical online companies.Food: 4/5
Stopped by on a Friday afternoon and had a $2 margarita slushy. Which was good and I was able to catch a slight buzz for $2 that’s awesome. Lol. Margaret was my waitress and she was super friendly. She recommended the garlic Parmesan mussels with some Cajun added to it. They were very flavorful. You get a pot full for $13. The only thing I disliked about my visit is that everyone seemed to be coughing in there. One guy at the end of the bar kept coughing without covering his mouth. A waitress and another guy who worked there who was just standing by the door. Could’ve been a bad day but whatever it was it made me hurry up and finish my food and leave! However, if you are ever in the eastern market area it’s cool for drinks. They have mainly pub style food. A lot of vintage things on the wall. They could use some dusting on the walls or perhaps a deep cleaning. Probably why everyone was coughing.
Great food right in the heart of the Eastern Market!! Had mussels for an appetizer and they were awesome! They offer different preparations and spice levels to customize your mussels. The service was a little slow but it was pretty busy as we waited 20 minutes to be seated. Had the salmon sandwich with sweet potato tots and I was pleasantly surprised. The tots came with a honey Bourbon dipping sauce that paired PERFECTLY with those sweet potato tots! My friend had the pizza and said it was "the best pizza I've ever had"!! Now, I can't say how much pizza he's had but that's a high compliment coming from a super selective eater! It's a bar so you get the full bar atmosphere but with borderline gourmet food!! Great spot...will be back!!
The wait is very long especially if you’re not accompanied with an other. On the weekends it’s very busy. I waited 35 minutes for a mussels appetizer. Although the food was delicious I could do without the long wait. The bar tender Kim was great which made the experience better. I would go back but not on a Saturday. I had the seafood melt and sweet potato tater tarts and the jerk mussels. Parking: On a Saturday it is hard to find parking.
Had a wonderful lunch at Vivio's. The burger was cooked to order and perfect, wonderfully pink. Had a delish bloody Mary. The service was attentive and great. Will be back.Food: 5/5
We stopped here for lunch while visiting the Eastern Market. The bloody Mary's were incredible and so was the food. They have huge portions for very reasonable pricing! Our waitress was great! Would recommend stopping here while in the area!Food: 5/5
Blood Mary’s are fantastic. The pierogis were great and the Pastrami burger was so good. Service was nice, but food took some time to make it to the table.Food: 4/5
