Frank's Deli & Grill

Fabulous old-style diner in Asbury Park, famously featured in Anthony Bourdain's New Jersey episode of Parts Unknown. The vanilla milkshakes were awesome. Don't miss their famous sub sandwiches. Super friendly and efficient service.

Fantastic food and prices. Eggs cooked perfectly. Fresh made rolls. Deli sandwiches that even I can only eat half of. So much better than the overpriced revenue engines along the beach.

We ordered the veggie omlet and french toasts both were delicious, good portion size. Very friendly diner staff, the server gave us a complimentary jelly donut which was warm, fresh, and delicious! Good place to eat in the area.

This deli is AWESOME! I can’t believe I’ve just gone there today for the first time, but now that I know I’ll be going in all the time! Stellar sandwiches and the staff is a bar above all the rest! Incredibly fun loving people, they even brought out 2 homemade doughnuts for us to try which were some of the best I’ve ever tried! If you live in or visit the Asbury Park area and haven’t stopped by Frank’s Deli yet, you are seriously missing out! Best place in town to have a great breakfast and brunch! Prices are reasonable and the food is amazingly awesome. Thanks to the staff and servers. The veggie omelette was really good and the Boston cream donuts home made are amazing. Staff is very nice and I’ll be coming back to it again again and again.

The food was all fantastic! We had a jelly donut, veggie omelette, pork roll, bacon and home fries. The standouts are all the amazing home made breads, which there are so many types of. A major appeal of the place and what will keep people going back is the staff. We had the pleasure of sitting at the bar with Red as our waitress and watching the whole kitchen staff working together seamlessly was a wonderful experience! I just ll definitely be visiting again next time we’re in town

Old school style luncheonette. A true Deli. They make their own delicious breads and rolls and limited baked goods. Not fancy, but you have that comfortable and cozy feeling that very few places if any have any more. Hearty soups and sandwiches. Eggs don't fare well with my body but I swear their egg dishes look incredible. Makes me really want to eat them. I went with an associate and they had an incredible egg and asparagus on a roll. This was my 2nd visit but there will be many more!!! Frank's is well respected in the community and is just an old fashioned feel good place. Please note that they close at 2pm. And they have several flavors of egg creams. Most people cannot finish their generous portions. No problem - take it home. I see many people drinking their iced tea. Very good waitresses. Just remember - CASH ONLY & 2PM CLOSING Sorry, I forgot to take pictures.

Legitimate impressed with this local gem. The service is simply exceptional and the food was simple yet delicious. You can tell that it was very well prepared. The breads were really delicious and went well with the selection. Do try the roll onion with poppyseeds on your eggs or pork-roll sandwich. Really worth the visit and you should leave there prepared to bring home some treats like their loads of bread, bagels, donuts, muffins...

Best pork roll I had in NJ so far.. been to Johnny and slaters and I have to say this is the best so far in my opinion.. check it out for yourself!
