Bud's Marine

Bought a boat about 3 years ago and had a Suzuki motor on it. We had trouble for 2 years with a vibration in the motor, we worked with Sales and Service. They had others that had the same issue and tried all sorts of things to fix the issue. Finally we got tired of out feet going numb from the vibrations and just wanted them to give us our money back. We called and asked to talk to Bud about the situation. Bud sent out a mechanic on the boat with us and we showed them what was happening, then they made a change with the prop and that didn't fix the issue. We talked to Bud again, and this is when we just ask them to give the money back, we have a boat that is not usable. Bud wanted to get on the boat with us... so we went for a ride and showed him the issue, and his son went as well. They agreed that there was something wrong but with the 115 motor it may be normal. Bud went back and talked to the Suzuki rep about the issue and it appears that Suzuki does not balance the output shaft or something like that and this is the cause of the vibrations. Bud decided to put a Mercury motor on the boat and have us test it... HOLY COW... want a difference... this motor is quiet and the vibrations are at a level I expected. Bud said that he would swap out the motor so that we had a great experience. I would recommend Buds Marine to everyone, customer service is priority on their list. My fiancee bought a tritoon boat last year. Delivery was great. But the problem we had at the end of the boating season the trim around the table broke off. She contacted them and we never got a response back. Poor customer service.

Bought a new pontoon from Bud's Marine last spring (2017). The experience was excellent. Bud, his family and staff are above and beyond fair, helpful and kind. Can't say enough about how great this family and staff are. They were always ready to answered all of our questions and concerns. Any issues we've had with our boat have been taken care of without and problems at all. Will always buy from them.

Buds is simply the best. We purchased a fantastic pontoon from them and they did everything they could to make it as painless as possible as we were from out of state. When the boat needed a quick warranty repair, they again went out of their way to make it happen. When we're ready for our next boat, we'll make the 4 hour drive to go back to Buds, even though other dealers are much closer. These guys make you feel at home are pleasant and just all around good people. I would recommend them to anyone!
