Where do I start…. They had one car on the lot that was all they couple rent me, and it was not an acceptable swap. I could not take a pickup truck with rain in the forecast, nor should I have had to... It was their responsibility to ensure there was a suitable car on the lot at the time of my reservation. They told me my only option was to waste 2.5 hours going to swap it myself at the airport. The airport gave me a car that put my life at risk with dry rotted tires. I then had a tire issue and had to swap it again at another airport in another state. They charged me $109 more than they were supposed to upon return. There is more to this story but 3 cars, 5 hours wasted, and still no resolution…horrendous. Seriously, go somewhere else.
I had a smooth experience picking up from here. Pretty fast, pretty friendly, car was good. It was an SUV when I requested a compact, but I think that’s a problem across the board right now. Would rent from this location again.
A reservation means nothing at the site where I had reserved a car.I had to wait two hours after the time of my reservation to get a car. The battery died on my rental. I had difficulty getting response from roadside assistance. It took three hours for service to arrive to offer jump start. It was cold. I had a flight to catch. If a Good Samaritan had not offered to help, I would have missed my fight. I was in theTSA line at the airport when the roadside service guy to say he was at the air bnb that I had checked out of. I did call two hours after waiting and cancelled the request after someone jump started the rental battery so that someone else that needed help could get it, but apparently the service manager did not cancel the call.
Booked my car online and arrived to collect and was informed that they branch had no cars to give. I booked a standard SUV but branch was unable to give me any car as they had none. I and several other customer were in the same position. It would appear this was a common issue. The branch was waiting on customers returning their hired car. This was quite a stressful situation as I was on a tight schedule and needed to start my journey early and not wait for returning customer.
WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE AT THIS LOCATION. I booked, paid, and traveled to budget upon confirmation and receipt. I was told upon arrival there were no cars available and that it was an erroneous system error that resulted in what was described as a ‘mishap.’ The manager gave me a 1-800 number to call and request my refund. It was perfunctory to a fault. There were numerous customers dealing with the same problem, and when I asked what she planned to say to the numerous customers on the list she had the names of and to whom she had to break the news, there was another perfunctory, careless response. Highly, highly dissuade — and this is a big one. Do not book a car through budget at this location.
The car I rented from them had a flat tire. They exchanged it for a better car and I extended it for more longer. Very good service and understanding and special thanks to Misrak who was very professional and courteous.
Great locations to pick up and drop off the vehicle, moreover, the people who work at their locations are very nice. Also, the car was clean and free of strange smells.
NEARLY GOT INTO A CAR ACCIDENT, GIVEN THE WRONG CAR! Budget assured my girlfriend and I that we could secure a 4WD car if we called several days in advance. Our trip required a 4WD car rental, as there was off-road driving involved. We were given a Front wheel drive FWD car and assured it was 4WD. We got to the off-roading part of the drive and found the car could not make it up the hill- we ended up rolling back into a rut on the side of the road. Upon checking the car manual to see if it could help us, I found that the manual we were given did Not match the car we were driving! The car did not have any 4WD setting and we later found out that it was indeed only FWD. A local helped us out of the situation and we then needed to drive two hours out of our way to trade for an actual 4WD car. We lost 4-6 hours with this whole ordeal, plus about $60 of gas. I attached a picture of the console and what it was listed as in the manual. Had we indeed needed emergency features, we would have not had proper instructions available. This is a walking lawsuit and management simply blames the customer for the company’s mistakes, rather than actually rectify the issue. We have tried contacting customer service for this location. Though they lied about the car model and we were very nearly injured, we were only offered $50 off the $180 rental based on a fraudulent reservation. I will be following up with the National Transportation Safety Board, but what terrible customer service and management. Unresponsive managers when we tried to resolve the issue, I waited several hours for them to call me back and was then yelled at by a representative for asking what the delay was about. Just go elsewhere- maybe Zipcar or Enterprise. Apparently Budget values customers’ lives and safety at $50.00.
the lady who served me was outstanding, courteous, knowledgeable of her cars and work, detail oriented and above all very professional. EXTREMELY CALM under pressure. She had more than 7 customers some families so more than 15 persons in total but she still remained calm, collected, assuring and listened and honored request and continued assisting each one of her customers as fast as she could. Thank you Mrs... keep up the great work!!!
Service really bad. When I arrive to pick up the car I want to change my reservation because I was paying for items I didn't need it, they don't give me any option. The car I reserved, was not available they give me a big one that consume more mas gas. I ended up paying twice the value I was thinking to pay. Not a friendly environment for costumers
