Budget Truck Rental - Emanuel Enterprises

WARNING!!! This truck was rented to me with a broken drivers seat, a mirror taped on with duct-tape, damaged tires, non-functional windshield wipers, and food/trash/dirt everywhere. I was also not aware that their booking system automatically chose the closest return location, based on my zip code, which happened to be an additional 6-HOUR round trip drive! After calling customer service, being redirected to the corporate office, they agreed to offer me a $30 refund, after I spent over $1800 on a one-way truck. What a joke! Do yourself a favor and use Penske!

Alejandra was great to work with and very helpful in reservations, setup and pickup. She also fixed a mileage issue with the end of trip office. Yea Alejandra! I rented a 26' truck and drove 1000 miles in it. The truck had an alignment problem. Let's just say I never veered into opposing traffic. The cab dome light didn't work either. Note that the other major truck rental company counts the 26' from their overhead bin area. So it's not a full 26'. Budget's truck is the full 26'. Easy to drive but understandably sluggish up hills when fully loaded. .

My girlfriend and I just moved down from Minneapolis. The Budget Rental location in Minnesota was rather questionable, felt as if they were attempting to manipulate us. They only had one 16' ft unleaded truck and tried convincing us to take a 24' diesel by claiming diesel was less expensive, a quick Google search proved this to be false. If you're going to try to convince someone to take the more abundant vehicle, be honest about it. And if you're going to lie, at least come up with a decent lie. It's insulting they thought we were dumb enough to fall for their bs. When we returned the vehicle in ABQ, it felt like the staff was on our side rather than corporate hacks. It was a quick drop off and provided us with reasonable answers to all of our questions. Thanks again!

Disappointing and unprofessional. Made an online reservation more then 2 weeks in advance. Budget in Albuquerque phoned me less than two days before the reservation, while I was driving interstate, to tell me they had no vehicles and my reservation was cancelled. They made no attempt to help me locate another vehicle and snidely told me that two days notice was plenty of notice, regardless of the fact it was 4th of July weekend. This was an AARP referral, which was doubly disappointing. How do you overbook a truck rental with a credit card guarantee? We ended going with Uhaul in another city, who were more than accommodating. Never risk that again.

I rented a truck from this location and the young lady gave my enemies my phone number so they could track me down all the way to Denver. I called her and asked her did she give my number out, she denied doing so, of coarse. What is she likely to say, "yes I gave your number to your enemies"... And if you think im lying and I just jumped on here to make up this big ol' lie, believe that......This took place in September 2018, it's currently July 2019.......her help was useless. Still unscaved. She can lie to me and you, however God see's all. Good day to all God's children.

I just rented a 16 foot truck to move my mother in law from Abq to El Paso. The service I received as excellent and personable. Thankyou

The truck was clean and ran smoothly, only issue was the truck drop off location was only open until noon on the weekends. Not very convenient....

Very helpful staff! Even helped locate an affordable, and rather nice storage unit, too! Went that extra mile!
