Butcher & Bee

Exceeded all expectations, truly special dishes with really unexpected detail. I never considered the possibility of ordering a savory dinner pancake, but wow they delivered. But we did come here for the whipped butter and honey with pita: incredible. So not leave here without trying this dish. The ambience and design are fitting and lovely. We tease about traveling back to Charleston to dine here again, buy now I've probably over-sold it.

This was our first stop when we came into Charleston. Very nice atmosphere. Open kitchen. Decent selection of food for a lunch menu. Food was fresh and delicious. Ate it so fast I forgot to take a picture! Ships wheel cider is local and complimented our meal nicely.

Excellent selection of food, pastries and drinks. We have loved everything we have tried. The staff always seems to be in a great mood, and are very helpful. The wait staff are professional, and what you would expect at a more high end restuarant (not saying this establishment isn't high end). The environment is perfect for a brunch date or a meal with family and friends. Bright, airy, clean, with great views of the neat architecture.

It's changed a lot from it's original inception but the quality of food has not dropped at all. The staff are all nice, extremely helpful and knowledgeable about what their serving. The menu has a lot of different things that while seeming odd at first are really spot on and delicious. I highly recommend the asparagus and the bacon wrapped dates.

I absolutely love Butcher and Bee. Since it moved to its location on Morrison Dr, it's grown up a lot, and has focused on coming up with surprising and delicious flavor combinations. It's the perfect balance between casual and fancy. You can dress up if you want to, and you wouldn't feel out-of-place, likewise if you go in with jeans and a t-shirt you'd be pretty comfortable. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I have never been disappointed by something I ordered there. Their mezze is nice to share with friends. I like the whipped feta and bacon wrapped dates the most. They change their menu at least seasonally, if not more often, so there's always something new to try.
