Excellent middle eastern fare. My wife is lactose intolerant and they were so mindful of that. Also, as a bonus, their desserts had many choices for her. The main courses were outstanding. Service was excellent. Highly recommend.

We made reservations for a party of 4. The table was waiting when we arrived. The hostess immediately took us to our seats. The place was filled with customers. Our waiter arrived quickly. Drinks were delivered as we placed our appetizer orders. The waiter conveyed the drink orders via wireless headset. Useful technology. As the appetizers were being prepared, the hostess returned to tell us that items were prepared to order so there might be a short delay. The food was excellent. We enjoyed lamb tongue, quail, quail eggs with beef "prosciutto", and chicken liver. Our favorite was the lamb tongue. The entrees were also first rate. My wife truly enjoyed the lamb. My favorite was the samkeh harra. We will return to eat at Leyla the next time we visit Charleston.

This is a small restaurant with very limited seating. Reservations are recommended. The food is terrific and the owners are very attentive. Plan to spend some time there, but you'll likely opt to return. I know I will.

Great Lebanese food! The chicken kebab was excellent and I highly recommend the lentil soup. The service is good. Highly recommend!

Fantastic. Great drinks and atmosphere and service. Better food. Get the combination meat plate!
