The Tattooed Moose

The Tattooed Moose is amazing and worth a little wait if there is one! The duck fat fries with blue cheese sauce are SO flavorful and rich, but they're one of those dishes that if you like them, you will be laying in bed a couple weeks later craving them. Tattooed Moose was the first restaurant in Charleston to steal my heart. Do know it's a very laid-back atmosphere with stickers on the walls and a funky theme.

This local dive has been apart of the community for a long time. The original downtown location use to stand alone at the outskirts of town but the city has come to meet it. There are multiple great spots in walking distance now. After a solid night out drinking, come here are order nothing but the Duck Club and duck fat fries. It's the perfect night cap!

I normally love this place. The food is great and it has a cool atmosphere. Today the service really sucked so I'm not sure if it was just a random thing or what. It wasn't even that busy and our waitress didn't bring us refills even if we asked. Literally waited 15 minutes for a coke and she didn't even come by to check on us. She wasn't very friendly and just not attentive at all. I'm kinda of disappointed because I took friends there for the first time and they got a really bad impression.

One damn good burger. The duck fries are also a must. The overall environment is perfect for the charelston area just enough indoor seating and just enough outdoor seating. Parking is a breeze, and the beer selection is good. An amazing place overall for a nice cold drink and some good greasy bar food! Will be back before leaving Charleston to try the brunch menu.

Food was good, and it's a fun no-frills place. We unfortunately went on a Friday night when there was only one server working the bar and entire seating area. That being said, she was awesome! Get the duck fat fries with gravy.
