Hank's Seafood Restaurant

By FAR the BEST meal that I had during my 3 day stay in Charleston! I got the swordfish and it was great! The service could’ve been a little better, but everything else was great! Definitely recommend that you make reservations and don’t just show up. I will definitely come back here!

SOLID 5/5. There was a 30 minute wait for seating, which was no problem because we were welcomed by staff for drinks at the bar. Table was ready easily within the 30 minutes. Server was attentive, and knowledgeable of the menu. All of the seafood is VERY fresh: Palatable, high quality well worth the price. I recommend the rare tuna entree, and the dozen oyster (from VA, MA, and PEI) appetizer.

Love Hanks Seafood. Dinner last night was fabulous. 4 of us. Great booth, very comfy. Wait staff (Luka) very professional and friendly. I had she-crab soup and soft shell crab. Best Ive ever had. All 4 of us had different entrees and were delighted. Truly one of our favorite places. There's a bustling atmosphere like you might find in NYC. We’ve now been several times over the past 3 years. And will continue to dine here often. We are from Wilmington NC and my sister and her husband from Savannah joined us. We’re from great seafood towns but love coming to Charleston for the best

Solid seafood restaurant. Nice selection to choose from. Good service, our server Jessica was fantastic! Wasn't blown away by the decor and thought it was a bit over priced for what it was. Overall our dining experience was good.

Despite our lack of a reservation, we, a party of 4, were offered seating at a communal table. Paul, our waiter, was outstanding. From our appetizers of mussels and fried calamari to both seafood and beef dinners, everyone enjoyed their meals. We highly recommend Hank's Seafood and look forward to visiting again.
