Grill 225

My husband and I stayed at the Market Pavilion Hotel and it was very nice. We ate at Grill 225 two nights. The food and service were fantastic. Our waiter was so terrific we asked for him the second night. His name is Greg and he took care of us like we were royalty. If I ever go back Greg will be the one we will ask for.

Best dining experience I have ever had. Grill 225 has set the bar so high I can't imagine any restaurant doing better. The steak was like no other and the service was the very best. We loved it so much we came back for lunch and dinner the next day.

Great views but way overpriced with mediocre food. This place commands ridiculous prices only because of its rooftop setting. It has a haughty atmosphere with many people "club-dressed". If you want to spend $15+ on a single "OK" drink just so you can see the town and harbor, go for it, but there are many better places to dine food- and service-wise (e.g., Halls Chophouse). Don't waste your time on Grill 225.

The atmosphere, drinks, and service were 5 stars. The nitrotini was gimicky but still very cool. For the food however I was a little disappointed. All the minor dishes were great and the seafood was good. However of our group of 4, two of us ordered steaks and both were improperly prepared. One was so bad we we asked to send it back. The waiter even agreed it was way over cooked and thought I might have received the wrong steak. The second one I received was wrong again... the quality of the cut was great but the preparation was below average. If I go back I’ll be ordering seafood.

Only giving 4 stars because I have experienced greater customer service and steaks at another location downtown for the same price point. The food was great and so was the service. The creamed spinach is the best I've tasted.
