I have taken several notoriously picky eaters here and several people who don't eat grits, and everyone has commented on how great the food is here. I know at least one person who will only eat grits here. For dinner get here early: 530pm. The parking lot and restaurant fill up quickly after 6pm. On more than one occasion I've had to park in the supermarket parking lot nearby to get a meal here. It was always worth it. The goat cheese cheesecake when on the dessert menu is a must have.

I would recommend this place to everyone visiting Charleston. It's the type of place that you go with your family if you're a local. It's not fancy by any means, but the food was good and the service was incredibly friendly. We ordered a bunch of appetizers and a couple of entrees and they were all really tasty. I recommend the fried green tomatoes. They also have a decent beer menu.

Great brunch on a pet friendly patio!! Definitely reccomend if you are in the area. The fried green tomatoes were breaded and fried perfectly, also topped with pimento cheese. The cornmeal fried catfish entree was cooked wonderfully and was not too heavy for a morning dish. All of this with great service to boot. Looking forward to a return visit!

This place is not much to look at inside or out. We were actually going to leave but thought to give it a try. The food was FANTASTIC! I loved the sweet potato hash - WOW! the bread on the Shrimp Po Boy was FRESH and perfect. The biscuit that came with the fat back (delish) was absolutely enormous and tasted GREAT. The peanut butter chocolate pie was actually what kept us when we saw on menu. It did NOT DISAPPOINT! Wish it was closer to where I live... If you are in area you MUST GO IN!

Excellent experience. Great food. Quirky good wait staff. I will always have a meal here when I visit Charleston. Always! No place compares.Anywhere! Not my first visit. Really, don't miss this eatery😳
