Husk

Amazing amazing amazing. Need I say more. Make a reservation for sure! Staff is incredibly professional and knowledgeable. Not only about food and restaurant, but also about Charleston! We went for lunch and it was divine. Next time we go to Charleston, we are definitely going here for dinner. Also... The ginger shrub was delicious, but you have to like vinegar. And the cider tasting was yummy also. The bar next door is a really cool feel and laid back...a must go to also.

I don’t know where to begin with my review on Husk! This place is probably my favorite in Charleston. I love this city, the southern charm, and most importantly the incredible food scene here! You talk about top notch chefs creating amazing and delicious food! Charleston is where it’s at and Husk is a must visit if you go! You get this farm to table feel when you come to Husk and not only that you feel the quality in the ingredients in each bite! If you are in Charleston just for a day go to Husk! I ordered the shrimp and grits and the crab balls. I washed it down with a spicy ginger ale (non-alcoholic). Please don’t miss out on this incredible place to eat! Highly recommend this special place! Don’t be cheap and invest in eating some real southern delicious food!!!

We saved Husk for last because we had heard amazing things. To be honest, it was a bit underwhelming and we had better meals while in Charleston. The food was good, but not what we expected. The highlight was getting a drink before in the carriage house. The bartenders were nicer than our server and the ambiance was quainter. I'd recommend going and eating the Carriage House menu in the cute outdoor space.

An excellent brunch. This was the best meal my fiance and I had while visiting Charleston for the weekend. We went for Sunday brunch. We waited too late to make a reservation so we arrived about 10 minutes before they opened and were seated about 30 minutes later on the upstairs balcony. The bloody Mary is made from scratch and is delicious. A little on the sweet side but I asked for it to be a little smoky and spicy and they obliged. My dining partner in crime had a whiskey drink that was equally as delicious, well balanced and refreshing. The menu changes daily because the chef is committed to using only the freshest local ingredients, so I won't delve in too deep into the meal specifics. Just know that we enjoyed every bite. This place is a must try if you're in Charleston.

I had high expectations and Husk exceeded them. We were sat in a stunning room that oozed history. Our waiter was phenomenal. I was able to snag one of the snappers that came in that day. All the food and drinks were unreal. And for what your getting I'd say a real bargain. Thanks Husk for making our trip to Charleston memorable
