Cafe Byblos Greek & Lebanese

We visited this restaurant today, Sunday, and the food was fantastic. We found it by asking my phone and boy did we get lucky. I had the gyros plate and there was so much food. I took it home in a box. This is the first place where I've actually liked the hummus. It was great. And the salad dressing was to die for. All in all one of the best new (to us) restaurants we've been to. Definitely try it out.

Cafe Byblos is one of my favorite restaurants in Denver. It's only a few minutes from downtown and right in the middle of a quiet neighborhood. This is pretty much a family owned and staffed restaurant that serves some of the best Greek and Lebanese food I've ever had anywhere. The portions are HUGE. The food is delicious and I have not found a single thing on their menu that I did not love. Make sure that Sarah the waitress is working. She is great and will take really good care of you. It's nice and quiet with subdued lighting, so a great date night place. I eat here at least once or twice a month. I even stop in occasionally just to pick up some hummus and pita to go and snack on it while watching TV.

Their menu looks delicious but due to lack of customer service skills, I guess I won't be trying their food. I saw their billboard where they claimed to deliver. They however, do not. I would have to go through a third party delivery service, which has proven to be a hassle in the past. There is no functionality or information on their website regarding ordering for deliver / a redirect to their third party service. They do not answer their phone. When I finally got through to someone via phone, I placed my order and said it will be for delivery. The person I was talking to said that I had to go through a third party. I said nevermind about the order and thank you anyways. The person I was talking to just abruptly hangs up.

Delicious food and great atmosphere! I've lived in the area for a while and I'm mad it took me so long to try this place... Called in for a pickup order and got there a little early. The staff was super friendly, brought me a water and even had me try a Lebanese tea while I waited. The restaurant had an open feel, nice decor and smelled amazing. The food itself (gyro plate and combo plate) was delicious, will definitely have to try more next time. It is a little pricey for a casual dinner or takeout but the food we had was well spiced and seasoned.

Omg best Greek food I've ever had!! Their gyros are to die for and their combo plate was definitely a right choice. Customer service was fantastic!! Definitely would recommend anyone to go there, can't wait for the next time I'm in the mood for a gyro so I can stop by.
