Jerusalem restaurant specializes in natural, preservative free foods that are all prepared in house. Our cooking philosophy is simple: pure ingredients and traditional methods produced flavorful results. We use organic and fresh produce sourced from local vendors whenever possible. While we are a small restaurant, we produce BIG robust flavors of the Mediterranean and Middle Eastern regions. We have been ranked top Mediterranean and Middle Eastern restaurant for over 30 years and with good reason! If you're looking for good Middle Eastern food at reasonable prices, then Jerusalem is the place for you. Located across the street from the University of Denver (DU), this small but cozy restaurant offers all the comfort foods you can imagine including grape leaves, samosas, and baklava. If you plan to dine in be sure to check the busy times here in Google maps because there are only two small indoor seating areas and one outdoor. You can also order at the counter for take-out. The service can, at times, be a little slow, but the food more than makes up for it.

I've been coming here for 9 years. A lot of times to go, which is always great. Decided to sit in this evening, but service was incredibly slow and they changed their gyro wrap SO much. Too much pepper and the meat was NOT gyro meat. So odd. I hate to even give this place 3stars, because it's been 5 in my book for many years. Would LOVE to change it back to 5star if they decide to change their wrap back to what it was originally

Great selection of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food. Good selection pastries aa well for you sweet tooth fans. Love the hot tea with a great mint flavor. Meat combination is perfect after a night out. Can't go wrong with a Gyro and fries (on the side or inside your sandwich).

This restaurant is one of the best Mediterranean restaurants in Denver! Located right on Evans, right next to University of Denver, is easy to find, but can be difficult to park close to. They do have a small parking lot for customers, but this place is usually pretty busy and the parking lot isn't always open. However, the food here is fantastic! Tastes great and they offer quite a few options for entrees. Most of their entrees are fairly large portioned, so go there hungry!

The service here sucks! BUT the food is so incredible that I still give this place 5 stars. If you want some of the best middle-eastern food available in the Denver area, go here now. Expect an abnormally long wait and service that literally does not care. I honestly get better service when calling ahead and taking the food home... BUT it is still worth it!!! I hate to love this restaurant so much.
