Cafe East Chinese Restaurant

Gross!!!!🤮🤮 Save your money. The waitress was nice but the food, my goodness. I wouldn't serve it to my dog. Wayyyy below a standard Chinese buffet. Everything is super salty. The hot food was cold and the cold food was hot. Try not to barf if you do decide to indulge.

Update 5/2018:🤬🤮🤢 Hot foods were cold and when I raised concerns with management, I was told the food is fresh but AC cooled it down. The taste was not good and someone in my party threw up all the food. Overall, a terrible experience and downgraded stars to 1/5. Don’t eat here! Original review: Plenty of items on Buffett and good price. Good Chinese place, better than other places in this area. Clean and friendly staff. Take out is pricey. Hot foods are excellent but cold foods are average. Food labeling is a bit lacking and fruits & desserts were not impressive. Overall 3/5 stars

Fairly standard Chinese buffet. Large selection of foods including hot foods and cold foods such as Sushi and jello. There is a salad bar but there isn't much to put on top of your salad. The hot food buffet was continuously being updated with fresh foods brought out of the kitchen.

We came here with my family for a dinner. There were the same old menu on the buffet but this time I ate their clams. I am the only one in my family to try it. The next morning , i was having diarrhea and nausea. I was so weal and fell asleep hoping to feel better. I woke up in the afternoon getting ready for work but started to try throw up with diarrhea. Instead of working, I end up in the emergency room. My WBC was elevated and was given antibiotics, nausea medications and given bolus of IV fluids because of dehydration. I had FOOD POISONING. We will never go back. Thank God I was the only one who ate the clams.

Not like the others. We were highly disappointed when we moved on this side of town and decided to try this Cafe East. Everything was cold and very bland. I’ve never had worst crawfish in my life. The seasame chicken was tough. Rice was over cooked. Just terrible. We’ll be happy to make the 35 min drive instead to go to the Cafe East 3 further down hwy 6.
