Wide range of lunch options, including custom sandwiches, salads, and grain bowls. Indoor and outdoor seating. Lines get long during the lunch rush. There's a single-user bathroom.
I think only specific customers are spoiled. I do still believe there is apparent "hate". or dislike at this establishment. The cashiers are not confused anymore. Now their line runs or I should say flows much smoother., usually the manager helps. I can't say if he teaches or explaines to his staff on how to properly flow the line and take payment. They should have weekly meetings or staff recognition or something. I don't eat their eggs because I don't trust "industry eggs" or " eggs in a box" . Still the best thing is their salads. M,m,m. Still delicious. You have a sweet spot. Try and have more meetings. Respect to,.. and for, goes a long way. PS on my break I'm going downstairs to find out why you charged me a bigger price for the same thing I ordered yesterday.. I did go, and yes, they did in fact "funny charged" me. I have to be honest, the service is improving, you can even taste their getting back to how they were. New staff seem to be coming along just fine. Veteran staff are more humble and perceptive.
I can only comment on breakfast since that's when I go but this place is overpriced and does not give a lot of food. Breakfast sandwich says two eggs but it's clearly not two and now they just increased prices. I get it, businesses were suffering but over 4 dollars for a bagel with cream cheese? No thanks
A nice spot located in metro tech. Has outside sitting, near the cafe. Food is decent. Lunch 12:00PM-1:00PM can be crowded. Can also order food online. The custom salads are amazing and worth a try!
For a place that gets a lot of business it is very unorganized. I have been here multiple times and often times they get my order wrong. In some instances the whole cashier system has gone down for more than 30 minutes. With all of these faults they still manage to overcharge you. A bagel and tuna salad for example is $5.89 but with lettuce and tomatoes the price jumps to $9.30. Seems odd to me. I work in the building so sometimes I have no choice bu to go, otherwise I would avoid this place.
The staff was very RUDEEEEEE!!!!! Upon leaving the store, the Hispanic woman at the register was impolite and had a attitude for some reason, very unprofessional... I was with 2 other people in which she gave them a paper and plastic bag then put mines in a paper only knowing it was kinda heavy...pushing it towards me saying next customer... Wish I didn't pay for my food already cause I would have walked out and went somewhere else because paying customers shouldn't have to go thru these experiences when spending money...
Would have gotten a 5 star but pricey based on portion size. This business is always packed for breakfast and lunch but the setup can not be beat. They get you in and out and keep the place clean. The owners have obviously put alot of thought into this place. Great Job.
This was my first time eating from this cafe, I ordered the large romaine lettuce with crispy chicken, cranberry, feta cheese, carrots, grapes, cucumbers top with ceasar dressing so yum. The salad came with bread or crackers your choice, it was a bit crowded but so worth the wait. I recommend this cafe when in the downtown Metro Tech area of Brooklyn.
It is constantly packed! Why? Because people love it ! They serve lots of great food options at a great price! And the employees that work there enjoy their jobs. It is my go-to restaurant for breakfast and lunch. And many seem to agree. Raul, Victor Hugo, and Isidero are some of the many happy hard working employees that work at their locations. They're joy is one of the main reasons I buy from them. Isidero, Georgina, Raul, Raymond and Jerry rock !
The food is ok, the price is fine. There's not much to rave about, you'll probably find a place to sit and eat even though it can get very busy during lunch. Don't drink the coffee, it's watery and always stale and you're fine.
