This is the best coffee you will find in the Iowa City area. All their beans are from upper tier brands and their attention to detail in brewing is top-notch. It's a nice change from spending $3 for a mediocre coffee at the Java House. My only wish is that Cafe Muse had a presence in downtown Iowa City as this is a good 15-20 minutes from downtown.

Top notch latte, laid-back atmosphere, limited food options but not lacking in taste. Toast options are enough to keep me coming back. Easy parking; never too packed. Highly recommend.

Never had a bad experience here. The staff is beyond friendly and really make sure you like what you get. They even make you something new if you didn't care for what you got. Overall the quality of beverages and friendly staff warm up the space and make it very welcoming. The owner talks to everyone and he encourages the staff to get to know customers as well. By far one of the best places in the area.

I stopped in during non-peak hours and was pleased to see a number of people relaxing over a warm drink or meeting for casual business work. I like to test out a new cafe with a fresh cup of coffee, and I enjoyed a blend that had a nice mix of acidity, aroma, and flavor. Cafe Muse has a nice display of fresh baked items, I cannot imagine someone lacking to find something he or she would enjoy. The staff was friendly, and the owner even stopped over to check on me and we had a pleasant chat. It’s nice to see staff who are happy and enjoy their work. The cafe is located within a half-mile of the interstate for travelers, and they have a drive-thru for those seeking a quick stop.

I’ve enjoyed several drinks at Cafe Muse when I visit the North Liberty area. The seating and service area is well laid out with plenty of space for gathering in groups, meeting a friend, or cozying up with a book.
The staff is well trained and professional, eager to say hello and make you the perfect drink. My go-to drink is a cafe latte, and many baristas at other coffeeshops cannot properly froth the milk. The baristas at Cafe Muse top their latte with a creamy, rich, silky froth that blends nicely with the espresso.
The Cafe Muse menu boasts six different sandwiches served with fruit or chips, a large number of fresh pastries, and a full line of espresso, coffee, tea, smoothie, wine, beer, and cocktails.
Cafe Muse is less than half of a mile from the Interstate, so grabbing a quick drink is easy.
