Cafe Trang

We had a coupon and decided to try Trang. Not very impressed. Service was slow although the place was practically empty. The table was "sticky" as if it had not been cleaned properly. The menus were also sticky. The silverware was filthy/tarnished. The food was not anything special. Maybe we went there on an "off" day, but if the tables and menus and utensils are unclean, what must the kitchen be like. A visit from the health department might be in order.

Food is reasonably priced and fresh. The menu has a very nice variety. One of our favorites is the Caramel Pork. The beef salad is tender and guilt- free for carb conscious people. Service is a little erratic, but the restaurant is cozy, comfortable and they never rush your meal.

Our pot stickers were a bit burnt but they did have good flavor. I’m not a huge fan of egg rolls but theirs are really good. I had the vermicelli noodles with pork which was very tasty. Would recommend. Staff is very friendly.

We ordered take out and were very satisfied with the food. Good portioning for a great price, and the staff was very pleasant. Full menu on the website does not show pricing, so we picked up a take-out menu for next time. For take out, we found this to be a great option.
