Oh Mai

My sandwich was very good. I had the jack fruit sandwich. It was brought out promptly. I would describe the place as a casual restaurant. The food is brought to your table, but there is no table service beyond this. Drinks are bottled or canned. We stopped here because we like Vietnamese food and saw the place on Divers, Drive-ins, and Dives. Definitely not disappointed.

This place is pretty good for being reasonably priced. But recently they changed all of their bowls and utensils to disposable because apparently too many were getting thrown away. They even bring your pho toppings in a plastic bag now. This change made me sad because it completely changed the vibe of the restaurant. Even though it's just aesthetics, it makes it feel like a cheap quality bowl of pho.

All I will say is that my dad has eaten at least 3 consecutive meals here before. Highly recommend it. They have more variety in their menu now than they did in the past.

Disappointed lately. Had the usual, which is the rib eye sandwich. It is not as good as it used to be. Very little meat in it. The pickled daikon/carrot was not as good as before, chunks were too large and there was no flavor, like they didn’t pickle them. They screwed up my take out order. There was no sauce for my husband’s bhan me. Mine was soggy. I asked how long the wait to get a new one, they said they were busy...they are the ones that screwed up the order, I feel they should have fixed it! The credit card machine wasn’t working, so I had to pay with cash.

Man, I love this place. I don't know what else to say. The size of the meal and the price is awesome. I order it to go a lot of time and get an extra Pho for later. Always good quality food, great customer service, and very fast - even when they're busy. They have the model down, I wish more places were like Oh Mai!
