Cafe Water

HAVE TO BE IN BEFORE NOON FOR THE BEST OF HOT FOODS!!! Here and I got sick of fast foods soo much every where you turn!! Went in for a simple inexpensive normal coffee was good ! Noticed the buffet was picked over very well. NEXT day 9am was in was ALL FRESH Wowcame back with 2 others we got 63$ worth food soupsaladfruitchickenmashed potatoes sesame chickedI had 7 different foods in my tray and the chicken noodle soupWOW keep up the awesome foods owners !! we will be back !

Food tastes awful. Everything felt like plastic, nothing was fresh, and it was overall a bad experience walking to this cafe. They didnt care to help us whatsoever and they charged us extremely high for a small meal of rice and chicken 19.50 Do not come here, you might as well go to McDonald's or a hot dog stand. At least there you get ok service and decent food

Above average NYC deli with prepared food buffet and made-to-order counter for breakfast platters, sandwiches, etc. Large selection of beverages and snacks. Limited seating area for customers no table service. Good for breakfast and meals when you need something good but quick.

They seem to have a hard time keeping the place clean but as most people are in and out, this isn't going to matter to most. The food is average but if you are looking for a quality meal, look elsewhere. The service is quick enough, if there are multiple people in line, but if you are the only one, expect to wait while the workers mill about behind the counter, talking and doing absolutely anything but pay attention to you, the customer. As for the customer service, there is nothing to say, as it is non-existent, except for the one cashier lady, who is always extremely pleasant and courteous. Specifically, the two guys making sandwiches, they are terrible.If not for the convenience this location provides and the amount of foot traffic, this place would not survive for very long.

Wow! So much selection! The prices were fair. The service was top-notch. I first went in at breakfast time. It took me nearly 5 minutes to decide what I wanted. I really did not know how much selection they had. My vegetarian omelette was made perfectly. The bagel wasn't over-toasted. My god the cream cheese was so smooth and rich... I would go back just for that to be honest. I returned at lunch time as they have a large salad bar stationed in the middle of the shop. Again, I was impressed by the selection! So much to choose from! They even have a sushi counter near the end of the store! I have found my favorite new place to eat while in NYC :

This is hands down the best deli / cafe in nyc. The panini's are excellent with very reasonable prices! My family and I became homeless for a few days over the winter due to our apartment flooding, and this was our favorite place to get that home cooked feel. The owner's really care about others! And they provide great service and lots of options.

Food on buffet looked as if it had been there since yesterday. I decided not to get anything. My 12 year old nephew was hungry so he got VERY small amounts of "fried rice" and "lo mein" and it was 8 dollars!! I couldn't believe it!! I asked him how it was and he said it wasn't really very good. I do not recommend.

The only reason why I can fathom this place stays in existence is there are limited deli options in the area. I have boycotted this for bad service, inconsistent pricing and poor customer service. I decided to give it a try again recently and low an behold another bad experience. Iv been charged several different prices for the same sand-which, been imposed a credit card minimum one day and not the several next, to then walked up one day imposed again which led to a brief exchange of questioning with the register personnel so infuriating that I left my food there and just walked. Iv even had the owner come to me and say something while on line when I asked regarding it and basically got yelled at for asking why the pricing kept changing day after day. Told at the deli that they will give me what I asked for at the counter to then be told they can’t make it or don’t have the ingredients after waiting and most of the sand which is made. They never have what you are actually looking for and the food is sub par. I honestly have never despised a place so much and look forward to never bringing my service there again because the service is so horrific and quite frankly tell all my coworkers to not visit this place because it’s so shady and terrible. They need to seriously question their business practices and methods.
